Geng oppa left first, followed by the Lees—JunKi still needs to heal himself and his dad still have work in the morning (his mother stayed behind)—ChilHyun oppa, of course, stayed behind. HyeJin omoni told us that she’ll go get some toiletries at the nearby store. ChilHyun oppa sat at the corner eating quietly while reading a book. As for me, I was holding JongWoon’s hand while we stare at each other. It was a few minutes of silence when he finally smiled, “See… I fought for you and we won…” he said and I kissed his hand
“Oppa…”
“Hyung-nim… tell her I didn’t do it out of stupidity” he said and ChilHyun oppa looked at him then smiled
“It was a bit stupid but really, really brave…” he said with a soft smile on his face, “You’re almost as cool as I am now, JongWoon-shi~”
“Ah, well… hyung-nim… I just proved that I can be cool too” JongWoon smiled then looked at me, “You look so tired, Rinie… you should rest”
“I will later” I smiled and kissed his hand again.
“I love you so much” JongWoon mouthed to me then we heard ChilHyun chuckled
“Just imagine that I'm not here… it’s not like you to be shy after what happen, JongWoon-shi”
“Omo! Hyung-nim, you heard it?”
“I sensed it…”
“You’re like spider-man…” he said innocently that made ChilHyun oppa laugh. It was the same time when HyeJin omonim got back.
“Omona~” she said sweetly, “You’re more handsome when you smile” she said ChilHyun oppa. From the very start I know that ChilHyun oppa liked her… she look a little like his mother
“Gomawuhyo, omonim” he said and he stood up to help her carry the stuff she bought.
“Thank you, child” she smiled, “Agashi—”
“Hmm” I pouted which made her stopped talking, “Don’t call me agashi… HeeRin is fine” I smiled then she pats my head lightly
“HeeRin-ah… you need some rest too… you don’t want to get sick, right?”
“But omoni—”
“That’s right~ I keep on telling her to rest—” JongWoon said
“You also need to rest” she told JongWoon and I giggled. “Now, now HeeRin-ah… lie down there I will watch over him for now… you rest too, ChilHyun-shi”
“I will be fine, omoni…” I lay the bed—more like a couch—and ChilHyun oppa stood up to wrap blanket around me. I closed my eyes and fell asleep. I couldn’t sleep long since nurses go in and out of the room from time to time and the couch isn’t as comfortable as it look… not to mention I'm still worrying about JongWoon. HyeJin omonim was sitting on the stool I was sitting on earlier and she was talking to JongWoon.
“Thank you omonim… JunKi hyung is also injured but you’re here looking after me” he said
“What did I tell you? You’re also my son… I'm not only looking after you but HeeRin-ah too… she gets stubborn with you, you know that” she said and I heard JongWoon chuckled
“They told me to never see Rin again… or I might end up dead… I really believed that they were going to kill me” he paused, “Those wretched days I was in that house, I can only be certain that I can’t give her up… I’d rather be dead than to give her up… I heard one man said that I was the only one being this stubborn. But… Rin is worth fighting for. She’s the reason why I'm alive. And if I will die fighting for her, then it’s all worth it. I know my parents in heaven will be proud of me as I would be. If they would do something like that again, I wouldn’t mind having to experience all of it again…”
