Theo's POV

Present in hospital again

The nurse came into the room, and I snapped out of my trance.

I got up and went over to her.

"Will she be ok?" The nurse turned to look at me.

"There's good news and bad news. Which part do you want to hear first?"

"I uh... The good news?"

"Ok. The good news: she took a pretty bad fall and broke a few of her bones..."

"How is that good?"

"Those will easily heal. And let me finish. The bad news is... She's in a coma. The fall impacted her brain substantially and it caused her whole body to shut down. We don't when or if she's gonna wake up."

"What do you mean if?" My voice started to sound really shaky.

"Sometimes, people just don't wake up. There's nothing we can do but wait." She walked out of the room.

My eyes were starting to blur with tears as I stared down at her body. She was alive, but dead. Couldn't move, talk or do anything but be there. More tears kept flowing and I heard someone come in.

"Why are you crying? She's just a stupid maid at your mansion. "

It was my girlfriend, shailene

"I care about her a lot shailene. She's very special to me."

"Pfft it's not like she's your beautiful girlfriend *hair flip*. She's just a dumb bitch maid."

"Excuse you?" (Ooh sassy Theo.)

"C'mon baby lets forget about her and have some fun *wink*"

She grabbed my hand and started walking away. I yanked my hand away. She looked at me, surprised.

"Baby what's wrong?"

"What's wrong? What's wrong! Your what's wrong. Your whole attitude. She's a very special person to me and no, she's not like my beautiful girlfriend because I don't have one."

"W-what? Baby what do you mean?"

"Don't baby me. As of now and forever, you and I are done. Now leave us."

Shailene stormed out of the room knocking over things as she went. I could even hear her screaming at people down the hall.

I look over at Celeste.

"Finally, you and I have some alone time to talk."

I sat down and rested my hand on hers.

It nights have been my imagination but I almost saw the slightest of twitches around her mouth for a smile.

I smiled.
