Theo's POV

I stared at her angelic face, pale and almost lifeless. I shed a tear. Was she going to be ok? What would I do without her? I can't break my promise , I never will.

*flashback*

(The day before Celeste moves)

Theo's POV

We were sitting on the roof of my house, as we usually did when we hung out.

"Theo?" She said

"Yeah" it sounded more sad than I anticipated.

"Will you miss me when I'm gone?"

"Celeste why would you even ask that question" I looked at her. She looked away.

"Isn't it hard and a waste of time to protect me all the time? Don't you get tired of it?"

I didn't say anything, too astonished she even said that.

She started to climb down, tears trickling from her face and dripping on her shirt.

"Don't go. Please." I begged her

"I guess... In a way.... It's good I'm moving. For you. You don't have to pretend to care about me anymore."

Those words were the rock that shattered my heart.

Then she disappeared, from my house and my life.

"I will protect you always and forever, my dear celestial star."

"I love you"

*flashforward but not present*

Still Theo's POV

I was a highschool dropout(I'm making it all up) to pursue my acting career.

I was always looking for her.

After doing movies and shows, I had collected a large amount of money.

The first thing I did was hire a private detective to find her. He didn't tell me that he found her. Or that he erased her memory of me and us completely.

She just knew me as a movie star.

I didn't find out about it until years later, a few months before she turned 18. I had my mansion and all my staff. But I needed a love, I needed her.

I desperately contacted one of her friends to persuade her to come and work for me. Of course, Celeste was a fan of mine, and her friend told me.

"I will protect you for as long as I live, for now and ever"
