Hailey's POV
We walk into the arcade. Not many people appear to have recognized us, well him that is. He starts to play a racing game. I sit in the fake car seat beside him and pull out my phone. I go to twitter. I hadn't checked it since the accident. I had a ton of new followers. I have a lot of DM's too. I read through the first one.
" I know you won't reply, but you're so gorgeous and seem perfect for Niall! xx "
The next few say just about the same thing. Then there is one that stands out.
" You fat ugly whore! Niall was meant for me. You have nothing on me. Skanky slut. " I start to cry a little. I decide to read one more.
" Hailey, you're so beautiful now. I know you might not remember me, but it's Lexi from elementary school. Anyways, ignore all the hate people are giving you. Y'all are adorable together. xoxo PS Text me if you wanna 1.888.777.5335 "
" Niall? " He looked up at me.
" Baby why are you crying? " he jumped up off the seat and picked me up. He sat down with me in his lap.
" Well, for starters, your fans hate me. And secondly, my old friend found out about us and messaged me on twitter. She was one of my best friends till she moved, " I explain.
" Well, let's make plans to go see her, " he says.
" You make everything seem so simple, " I mutter as I lean over and kiss him. Unlike usual, instead of one of us pulling away quickly, we kiss for a while. He pulls me closer into his lap, and wraps his arms around me.
" I don't know how I lived without you. " He puts his hands in my hair and pulls me back in for a kiss.
" I don't know how either, " I say in between kisses. " You're the best thing to happen to me. " I finally pull away from him and stare into his beautiful eyes. " I'm gonna message her back. Can we go see her? Please, baby, " I give him my puppy dog eyes.
" Anything for you, baby girl. " He grabs my hand and kisses it. " Go ahead and text her, I'm going to see what I can get with these tickets, " he smiles. As he gets up, I pull out my iPhone and start to text Lexi.
" Hey, it's me, Hailey. Lexi, oh my gosh, I miss you. I remember the time we went to the zoo together and that baby tiger tried to jump over the rail and play with us, that was the best day ever. Haha. Anyways, I was wondering where you are now? Niall, the boys, and I could fly in to meet you. Anyways, much love. " I sent the message. I couldn't wait for a reply. I was ready to see her again. She was the best friend I had ever had. After about ten minutes I got a reply from Lexi.
" Hay, boo I've missed you a ton. Well, these days I'm in NYC! Remember how I moved in seventh grade because of dads job? Yeah well, after about four transfers, were finally in the big shots! Anyways, I'd love to meet the guys! And I hope I see you. Soon!(: Much love && sorry for your losses. Love Lexi<3 "
" Niall? " I called out. He hadn't came back yet.
" Yes love, " I hear a voice come from behind a humongous teddy bear.
" Oh. My. Gosh. Niall. No you didn't, " I smile as he hands the teddy bear to me. It was bigger than me.
" I love you, double infinity, " he kisses my check. " Did you text Lexi? "
" Yes. She's in New York City, " I reply.
" We have an interview there on Wednesday. "
" Niall, baby, it's Tuesday. "
" Oh crap. Well I'll guess we have to get to packing. The plane leaves at midnight, " he says as he grabs my hand to leave the Mall. Before we're completely out, I go to the bathroom. It was right next to a jewelry store. I look at myself in the mirror. I had lost about ten pounds since the accident. There was a scar on one of my collar bones. I sigh and walk back out into the opening. Niall was nowhere to be seen.
" Boo, " a voice whispers. I turn around to see Niall on one knee.
" Baby, get up, " I mumble softly.
" This isn't an engagement ring or anything. It's a promise ring. Because I promise to love you for the rest of my life. " He slides the ring on to my ring finger. A crowd as formed around us.
" I can never stop falling more in love with you, " I say as I grab his hands, pulling him up to a kiss. The crowd claps their hands. I finally look down at the ring. It was so beautiful. " How much was this? "
" Not enough, " he says. " Only a couple thousand dollars, " he mumbles hardly audible.
" I'm not worth that much money, " I say.
" No, you're not... You're worth more. " We walk to the hotel and go upstairs to pack our bags. After mine is completely packed I lay out on the bed. Before long, I was knocked out.
Niall's POV
" Hey, baby? " I look over. Hailey hadn't talked for a while. I see she was completely knocked out. I chuckle lightly and walk over and kiss her forehead. I grab a cover and lay it over her. " Goodnight baby, " I whisper quietly. She rolls over a little, but doesn't wake. I pack my bags, trying to make as little of sounds as possible. I check my watch and see its ten o'clock. I text the boys and tell them it's about time to go to the airport. They all reply that they're already on their way. I call room service to take our bags downstairs. I give them an extra $20 each for carrying our baggage, then I carry Hailey downstairs. She doesn't wake a bit.
