Hailey's POV
- a month later -
" Niall, " I speak quietly after walking out of the bathroom.
" Yeah? " he asks walking up to me and hugging me tightly from behind.
" I... Think.... I think I'm pregnant... " I mutter.
" What? Let's go to the doctor, " he says quickly. He kisses my check and carries me to our room. After the honeymoon, we had bought a flat in California where he had first met me. He puts on some clothes and picks out some athletic shorts and one of his shirts for me. He takes off the big shirt I had slept on and puts the other clothes on me.
" Niall. I can still take care of myself, " I laugh lightly.
" I know... But I want you as comfortable as possible. " He picks me up and carries me to our car. He buckles me in and walks to the driver side. The hospital wasn't far away, so we drive for a total of about five minutes. He finds a hospital wheel chair and puts me in it.
" How may I help you? " a nurse smiles at us.
" We need a pregnancy test, " he says.
" I'll notify one of our doctors and they'll be with you soon, " she says before leaving the room she had taken us to.
" Niall? Do you want a baby? " I ask worriedly.
" Of course. I want a kid to spoil rotten. Plus their beautiful mom deserves one. I want to settle down a little and have a family, " he smiles widely at me. Then the doctor comes in. It's a woman and she hands me some weird looking pregnancy test.
" Mr Horan, would you mind going outside for a moment? " He looks up and walks out slowly. She informs me on what to do and five minutes later tells Niall to come back in. " I'll be bak with the results soon, " she smiles.
" I hope it's positive, " Niall says quietly. We talk about how amazing it would be to have a baby. After about ten minutes, the doctor comes back with the results.
" I'm sorry to have to say this, but Mrs Horan, you aren't pregnant. " Her saying that takes my breath away. Tears form in my eyes as Niall hugs me tightly.
" Princess, it's ok, " he repeats in my ear. We drive home and I finally cry out all my tears.
" I just... Really wanted a baby, " I sigh. We get out and head inside and sit on the couch. He pulls me into his lap and kisses me gently.
" Princess, I love you. We'll have a baby sooner or later. I know you want one now, but maybe we weren't supposed to right now, " he sighs softly. We watch a few movies and I fall asleep.
Niall's POV
I wake up to our house phone ringing. I stretch and notice we're still asleep on the couch. I move Hailey out of my arms slowly trying not to wake her and run to the phone.
" Hello? " I yawn.
" Mr Horan? " a voice asks.
" Yes? Who's this? " I ask.
" Dr Lee, you and your wife came here yesterday, " she speaks.
" Oh yeah, " I sigh remembering the pain she went through hearing the results.
" I need the both of you back here, I have something to say, " she says before hanging up.
" Hailey, " I say as I walk back over go her and pick her up. She was wearing one of my tshirts and some sweat pants. I carry her to the car and drive to the hospital. She wakes up when we arrive.
" Niall? Why are we here? " she asks softly.
" Dr Lee needed us for something, " I say before taking her hand and walking inside.
" Mr and Mrs Horan, follow me, " she says as soon as she sees us.
Hailey's POV
" I have something important to tell the two of you, " she says as we walk into a room.
" What is it? " I ask worriedly. The first thing in my head was that I wasn't capable of having children.
" The results were wrong... Congratulations, " she smiles before walking out.
" YES! " I say loudly. Niall jumps up and runs to me. He picks me up and kisses me.
" I can't wait to have two amazing people to spoil, " he says smiling.
-5 months later-
" Niall, " I sigh. He had been worrying a lot lately. We had the ultrasound later today.
" I'm just so excited and nervous.. Are you ok? " he says walking to the couch and sitting beside me. He pulls my large shirt up and kisses my huge baby bump. The door bell rings and Niall goes to open the door.
" Helloooo, " Lou says walking to me. I stand up, and Harry hugs me. I smile as I see the rest of the boys come in.
" How's our girl? " Liam smiles.
" Good, " I laugh. " Y'all wanna go to the ultrasound with us? " I ask hugging everyone.
" Of course! " the boys smile.
- ultrasound time -
" Ready? " Dr Lee asks. I nod my head and she puts the monitor to my belly. I giggle at the touch. She moves it around some and stops abruptly.
" What is it? " I ask worried.
" It's a girl, " she smiles. She points to the screen. I look over at Niall and see him smiling. He had been wanting a girl so he could call her his baby princess. We get up and head home.
- week later -
" I'm gonna miss you, " I say sadly. All the boys were leaving for tour. They'd be back a week before my due date. I kiss him softly and close the door after he leaves.
- 3 months later -
Me and Kat were walking around the mall shopping for baby clothes when it happened.
" Kat! " I practically yell.
" What? " she jumps.
" My water just broke. "
Niall's POV
" Her what? Ok ok! I'll be there as soon as possible! " I say into the phone getting into the car. The boys all follow me. We arrive at the hospital Hailey was at in around an hour.
" NIALL! " she yells when I walk in the room. Only seconds later was my baby girl born.
Hailey's POV
" What's her name? " Dr Lee asks.
" Lily, " Niall smiles. " Lily Grace. " we had chose the name a few weeks before he left. " Welcome, princess, " he smiles before kissing her. I couldn't believe it. It seemed like forever since I'd met the boys at the hospital. It even seemed like forever since our wedding. Now, I was ready to spend my life caring for Lily and loving Niall. My life was beyond perfect, and I couldn't imagine anything different.
