Chapter 4: Bella's POV

It had been 3 months since Jake and I have started dating. I burst with ecstasy when I see him. I really am happy. Sometimes I go up into my room and dig out a satin pink box at the back of my closet. It has all of my "Edward" things in it. I definitely miss him. I thought I made the right decision. Love was so hard. But I missed Edward as a friend and loved Jacob as a boyfriend. There is, however, a slight complication. Jake has been hanging around a lot with this girl lately. Her name is Lily. She's drop-dead gorgeous and super smart. She has shiny blonde hair and gorgeous sea foam green eyes. He says she's just a friend that's close to the family, but I don't believe it. I'm beginning to think something is seriously wrong.

Jacob's POV

I have a very very horrible problem. I have imprinted. I know. And not on Bella. I don't love her anymore. I have no choice. I imprinted on Lily, the most beautiful girl on the planet. I know Bella suspects something, but I don't think she knows it's this extreme. I was just in my living room when Lily slipped in through the window. "Jakey, I missed you," she said, trying to seduce me. "Lily babe come over here," i demanded in a whisper. I knew Bella was asleep so I knew I wouldn't get caught. She tip-toed over to me and wrapped her arms around my neck. I pressed my soft lips against hers with tons of passion. She sat down on my lap without breaking the kiss. I tangled my fingers in her glimmering hair while our tongues intertwined. All of a sudden I heard a shout. "Jacob Black! I thought you loved me!" It was Bella. "Bella! We need to talk." She stood firmly in the same place. She was furious. I could tell she knew this wasn't going to end well. "Bells, I know I've been hanging out with Lily lately. I'll explain why. You know I can't control this at all. Bella, I've imprinted."
