An Unexpected Visitor

Chapter 6: Bella's POV

I say with my legs crossed on my bed. What had just happened? Could Edward possibly be coming for me? His soft, velvety voice gave me comfort, and I knew I was still in love with him. Maybe my love for Jake was just lust at the moment, or maybe my love for him was a very strong friendship and I was confused. No matter what it was, it didn't matter anymore. I felt a cool breeze behind me and soon after, frigid arms wrapped around me tightly. I immediately knew who it was. Edward Cullen flipped me around and crashed his icy lips onto mine. I couldn't get enough of him and he wasn't holding back like he usually does. I tangled my fingers into his bronze hair as our lips moved perfectly in-sync. Our kiss lasted forever. Minutes, hours, I wasn't sure. But I loved my Edward and that was all I knew. I pulled away, knowing I wouldn't be able to breathe much longer. "I love you," I moaned into his ear. "As I love you." He grinned as he said that. We kissed sweetly for the rest of the night. I fell asleep wrapped up in his perfect arms.
