Zhai skipped Irish invitation to go back on the spot where she and Zach last spent time together. Amazed by the city lights and the lights of few fireflies down below the trees.

"Wala pa pala akong snack dumeretso pa ako dito"

She decided to buy some food at the store where Zach worked a year ago. Potato chips, peanut butter cookie and a few chocolates and water.

"You look familiar miss" Said one of the crew

"Who me? Hindi ah! hindi ako yungnagsusukaditodatidon't assume"

"Ha Ha Ha ikaw nga! Looking good ma'am!"

"Thanks. And don't worry, I'm sober"

She laughs as she went outside.

Few steps away from her car she noticed something hanging and swinging on her side mirror. She steps closer to the familiar thing and to her surprise, it was a stopwatch with a note.

"It's time. Watch sunrise with me?"

 It was the exact stopwatch Zach gave her.

"Hi miss!"

She almost threw her junk foods when she turned around and saw Zachary behind, wearing a Dalmatian patterned onesies.

"Jusko! Zach? Ikawyan? Ha Ha ha what are you wearing?"

"Um. Onsie tawag dito diba?"

"Ha Ha Ha, what on earth?"

"Okay, stop! I'm gonna make this quick before you pride it out of me"

"Jusko"

Zhaira can't help herself but laugh. She covered her mouth instead to listen to what Zach has to say.

"Okay. Years ago, I was a young boy that is so madly in love with a troublesome young girl"

"Excuse me?"

"Please listen first'

"Alright. Sorry, distracted akosaano, pumuputok naman kasi Zach"

"Please! Focus!"

Clears her throat.

"Alright. Game"

Pfft. But God says no, hindi pa pwede. Kaya binagyotayo" "Zhai, I cannot promise to save you because only God and you can do that. I won't pretend I understand your mind and heart or try and be a hero. I can't promise to be strong, but I'm here. I'm here now." "If the time comes that I have to leave again, my heart and eyes are set only for you. It never left and never will"

Zhaira is tearing up and slowly walks towards him as she drops the plastic bag of food she bought.

"And now, na okay na ako, at kung ready kana, baka pwede na? Pwedenatayo?"

"Anongbaka? Ang tagal kong hinintay to"

She pulled his dress and whispered

"Pwedeng pwede na"

He held her face and caress it while looking at her eyes lovingly.

"I love you Zhaira Mendoza. Always have"

She smiled at him with her eyes sparkling like the city lights

"I love you too Zachary. Always will"

He kissed her like it was the first time he ever did. Her hands wrapped around his neck while she caresses his hair. They waited for so long for this time to happen. They struggled and conquered the past, and willing to conquer the future, together and stronger.

They sat on the hood of Zhaira's car with a beer in their hands. While Zach, can't stop kissing Zhaira on her hair and on her neck.

"You really did all the things in my list ha"

"Um. Not all"

"What? What's missing?"

"Well onesie while saying I love you, drink beer while waiting for the sunrise and make lo"

"Ops!!! Zach ha"

"Ayawmoba?"

"Eeeeh ano ba, kanina mo pa nga ako pinapapak eh"

"And I'm just getting started"

"Hoy!!! Ang harot harot mo lalo ngayon ah"

"I told you you'll be surprised"

They looked at each other and kissed passionately as the sun goes up and shines on them.

Things happen for a reason. Some of it is unpleasant and vague. We do not need to understand them immediately, because it will be revealed.

Love is something that doesn't need to be rushed if one felt it. Because if it's true and God wills it, it doesn't need to be forced. It will come and stay at the right time with the right person and with the right intentions.

Zachary and Zhaira, have troubles of their own. True love told them to wait. To be as complete individuals first, so they can share their wholeness.

What is bound to happen will always happen. No matter how you change things on your journey. Zach and Zhaira had changed, but ends up the same. Undeniably, deeply and unconditionally in love with each other.

"Gusto moba sunrise wedding?"

"Jusko Zach, tulog pa mga boses ng wedding singer natin niyan!"

"Mahirap pala mag planong wedding"

"Sobra no! Tapos magbabarko kapa bago ang kasal ako lang mag-isa mamomroblema dito"

"Ediunahin nalang natin yung madali, At least magkasabay tayo"

"Ano yon?"
