Free Falling

 The house was black and silent. I slowly stumbled through the thick shadows that seemed to engulf  

every last happy memory. My stomach turned and my feet were as cold as ice. I shivered uncontrollably

and stepped forwards. My foot hung in solid air then was swallowed by it. My body forward swiftly. I

tumbled desperately ,instinct sent me reaching for the railing. A stair hit me in the center of my back

and my body went stiff. I fell like a board the rest of the way and was rendered useless as I

lay in a pool

of my own blood. Every thing went bleary and my head began to feel light.
