I was at my friend Jack Grazers house, we are listening to his Spotify playlist and eating food, like always. We've been best friends since 1st grade, but now all I do is third wheel him and his girlfriend Ellie, who has this weird grunge on me.
"Well, you don't have to third wheel today!" Jack laughed.
"Really? How's that?" I laughed, looking at him and Ellie cuddling on his couch, I rolled my eyes till I could see the back of my head,
"My friends coming over, Finn. You'll like him" he smirked
"Why didn't you tell me earlier? I would have gotten decent" I said looking at myself, I was wearing black tights and an old soccer shirt I had from soccer camp, and my hair was in a messy ponytail, but my makeup looked nice.
"Y.N, you look fine" Ellie laughed, "yeah you look good" Jack smiled, Ellie rolled her eyes, I giggled under my breath. The door bell rang,
"That must be Finny!" Jack said excitedly rushing to the door, he always talked about this super cool finn kid, but I've never met him, till now.
"Hey Finn! What's going on dude?!" Jack laughed dragging the curly haired boy in the room, "pretty good man" he laughed.
Finn walked up me, I could see him clearly now, he was attractive, his curly brown hair and eyes and freckles, and cheekbones that can cut a bitch, he was tall, like 5'8. He was wearing a plaid sweater tucked into jeans and a belt. "Who's this?" He smiled at me,
"That's Y.N" Jack said, "I'm Y.N" I laughed, backing away from Finn, since he was way too close. "Cute name" he smirked.
Jack went back to the couch with Ellie, I sat down on the other couch, Finn sat next to me, not too close, but close. "So YN, why haven't we met before?" Finn asked.
"Not sure, I'm at Jacks house a lot, surprised I haven't seen you" I said,
"Damn. Well, I'm busy a lot" he said, "yeah Finns famous, just like me" Jack laughed,
"Jack you're not famous you were on a sitcom that recently got removed from tv" I giggled, I'm still surprised I'm friends with someone who's on tv, and apparently now Finn, he's in Stranger Things I'm pretty sure.
"Shut up Y.N" Jack bursted out laughing.
For the next few hours of hanging out it got less awkward, me and Finn talked about music a lot and Ellie ordered pizza which was really good, "oh, my moms here" I said looking at a text she sent me, "okayyyy bye!" Jack and Ellie waved, I walked to the door and Finn came over to me, "I had a really fun time with you. Can I get your number?" He said, grabbing his phone from his pocket, "sure" I shrugged, giving him my number, "thanks, let's hang again soon" he said, "yeah" I smiled, walking out the door.
