"Maddi you've been in your room for an hour, it's time to go to school" my mom yelled, lightly knocking on the door, "I know mom, ill be right there just start the car without me" I said, "alright" she sighed.

I looked at myself in the mirror, I hate my stupid school uniform, it's way to fancy for my taste. I hate my school, everyone's so preppy and mean, it could just be because I'm medically depressed or some shit but I only like a few people, my best friend Poppy and this guy I like to stare at, Finn, he's super popular, and famous. I took one last glance at myself and ran to the driveway. I got in my moms car, "took you long enough, you look lovely" she said.

We finally made it to school, "see you later baby, have fun." She said, "bye mom" I smiled, and walked out. Knowing I wouldn't have fun, all I do here is sit in a chair for 8 hours listening to words being put into my head for my "future".

             I'm the middle of English class, students are doing presentations picked random by the teacher, I hate when he does this, I'm sweating praying he won't choose me."And last but surely not least, Maddi, can you come up here and talk about the relations between ww2 and alebeir fisherman?" He asked, i gulped, sliding my sweaty palms from the desk, "s-sure" I replied.

                In the middle of my speech, I completely blanked, I forgot everything I was going to say. "Uh-I-um" I trembled, "oh my god what a loser" I heard someone whisper, "come on Maddi" the teacher said, "um-I-" tears started falling, "why are you crying? Jesus" someone shouted, I looked at everyone, they were all laughing or looked awkward, I ran out the room, "Maddi!" The teacher yelled.

            I ran into the halls and stopped at my locker, I fell on my feet and sat down, all alone, crying in my own lap. I heard footsteps run towards me, I looked up, wiping my eyes, "hey, are you okay?" A boy asked, it was Finn! Oh god, how could I let him see me like this! "Y-yeah" I said, fake smiling, he dropped his bags and told his friends to go away, and sat down next to me. "What's the matter" the tall boy asked, his brown eyes looking me over, as his hand traced my shoulder, I didn't answer, "I'm Finn" he said, "I'm Maddi" I smiled, "you shouldn't cry by yourself, looks like I'm your partner now" he said, I laughed, "I knew I could get a laugh out of you!" He smiled, I pushed my hair back, "You're pretty Maddi" he said, blushing.

          "Thanks Finn" I shrugged, "would you mind if I ju-" his hand grabbed my chin and leaned me in, he did also. His lips touched mine, "no" I murmured, telling him I didn't mind, which I didn't.

            We were full on having a makeup sesh in the halls, something I would never do! But I guess I am now, with Finn Wolfhard! The coolest boy in our school. "Surprise!" A group of people yelled and jumped out the corner, it was the cast of IT. I froze, I looked over at Finn, he was frozen also, our faces red and our lips wet, they were holding up their phones. "Oh, um sorry" the tall one, Jaeden said, putting his phone away, "we were going to surprise you by coming here but you seem busy" the red head said, "oh gosh um give me a second guys" finn said. They walked away.

          "Maddi, I really like you. I would normally never do that with a girl, especially one I just met. I'm going to text you okay?" He said, handing me his phone, I put my number in it. "Thanks love" he kissed my forehead, "I'm coming guys!" He yelled.
