One week later.
Things were going a bit differently in OM. ShivIka and Mahi were still distanced from the Oberois. RiKara would spend most of the time in Om's art gallery. Rudra got a little more serious regarding his college and studied harder than ever. ShaNky, too, were distanced from the family. TejVi got rid of Svetlana and tried to spend quality time with each other. Dadi kept hoping for the best.
Then, the fateful day arrived.
That evening, Shivaay was keeping some documents in a bag while Anika was arranging their clothes in two suitcases. After keeping their things, she closed the zip of the suitcases, kept it down and extended the handles. Shivaay takes the one of the suitcase and they start to move out. Shivaay looked at his room, reminiscing the times he spent with his brothers. He shrugged off the thoughts and went out with Anika.
In the hall, they tried to go out as secretly as possible but were stopped by a voice.
Voice: Shivaay?
He turned around to see Mahi, wearing a dark blue shirt and black trousers.

Shivaay: *surprised* Woah! Tum aur formals!? (Woah! You and formals?!)
Mahi: *annoyed* Pehenna pad rela hain nahi toh mereko yeh kapde ratti-bhar bhi pasand nahi hain. (I need to wear it otherwise I hate this with all my being.)
Shivaay: Likin aaj tumne yeh kaise pehen liye? (Why are you wearing them though?)
Mahi: Woh maine ek naukri ke liye baat ki thi toh... unhone aaj bulaya hain. (I had applied for a job so... they have called me for an interview.)
Shivaay: That's great! Congratulations. *notices a suitcase in his hands* Mahi, yeh bag? (Mahi, this bag?)
Mahi: *sighs* Shivaay, kaheen pahonchne ke liye... kaheen se nikalna padta hain. (Shivaay, to reach a new destination... the previous one needs to be left behind.)
Shivaay: *shocked* Likin tum bhi aaj jaa rahe ho? (But you're also leaving today?)
Meanwhile, rest of the family comes and hears their conversation.
Dadi: Mahi puttar, yeh tu kya keh raha hain? Tu... jaa raha hain? (Mahi, son, what are you saying? You...are leaving?)
Mahi: Jaise aaya tha, waise jaana bhi hoga Dadi. (Just like how I came here, I need to leave as well Grandma.)
Dadi: Likin tu kaise jaa sakta hain? Tu is ghar ka beta hain, puttar. (But how can you leave? You're the son of this family, dear.)
Mahi: *sadly* Main sab ho sakta hain, likin is ghar ka beta kabhi nahi ban sakta hain. (I can be anything, but not the son of this family.)
