Before I Fall || A Phan Story

It was the night of the party, everyone came, and I mean everyone. There were drinks, drunk people and really loud music. People dancing and getting a little too close with each other, this wasn't going to end well.

Dan wasn't having it, random people he didn't even know tried to get him into bed with them, one guy even tried to kiss him. Phil in the other had, spent most of his night drinking with PJ and Cat, Dan didn't like that, not one bit.

Louise made her way to Dan, with a worry expression on her face,

"Not having fun, Dan?" She asked.

"No, not really, I haven't seen Phil all night and I'm not willing to get drunk because I'm both of each others ride," Dan explained, Louise only laughed,

"Common, drink have fun, let lose, I'll drive you boys home," she offered,

"No, no it's fine, I don't want to be a-" before Dan could keep going with his sentence, Louise cut him off,

"Nonsense, go have fun"

"Okay fine, but I'm afraid if I do get drunk and see Phil, something I'll regret will happen," Dan said,

"Oh honey, he's far to drunk to understand anything you do to him," she said matter-a-factly. That concerned him, PJ could literally fuck him and Phil would never know.

Dan made his way to Phil, with his already half drank alcohol. Dan already knew that this either could end with them going home and not regretting whatever happened, or going home wondering what all that meant.

"Hey Phil," Dan said,

"DAN! Oh hey it's been awhile," Phil said bringing him into a hug, 'it's already happening' dan thought,

"H-hey um so I think maybe that's enough alcohol for the night," Dan insisted,

"Aww Danny whyyy? You're a party pooper," Phil said with a pouty lip, Dan couldn't help but think it was adorable, 'stop dan' his mind warned,

"No, I'm a life saver, now common I think we should go, Louise said she'll take you home," Dan tried to convince Phil to leave by grabbing his hand and dragging him out,

"No! Come dance with me first! And after we could go home together," Phil said, than winked, Dan's heart flipped over and over, his breathing heavy, Dan gulped and said,

"I'll dance with you, but I am not going home with you,"

"We'll see," Phil said with a husky voice, Dan's face went bright red. Dan knew Phil drink and flirty could make Dan do anything, but he had to try and resisted as long as he could, and swear to not get too drunk or something will happen.

They danced until it was 12:00, Dan dragged Phil out and said there goodbyes, Louise asked if she should take them home, but Dan insisted he wasn't drunk and could drive them home. Dan helped Phil into the car, which was hard because all Phil tried to do was kiss his cheek.

Once they got in the car, Dan put on MCR so Phil couldn't try and talk to him, but it did work. Once they got to Phil house, Dan went inside to check if Phil would be alright.

"Dan," Phil paused, he bit his lip like he was trying to get something out, "Dan I know I joked about having you stay with me tonight and I'm sorry, I just get a bit weird when I'm drunk," he explained,

"Now is this sober Phil, slightly drunk Phil, or completely drunk and tried to kiss me on the cheek Phil?" Dan asked

"Oh god I did that? I'm sorry, it's slightly sober headache Phil, being drunk for me doesn't last long," Phil said, Dan laughed at the slight red of Phil's cheeks and embarrassment,

"It's fine, it was quite tempting but I knew you were drunk," Dan said but soon after regretted it,

"Thank you"

"For what?" Dan asked,

"For being here before I did something drunk I wouldn't want to," Phil said,

"You're welcome, I better go, it's getting late," Dan told Phil, he walked closer to the door before he was stopped by Phil,

"No, stay the night, my parents won't mind, and I "promise" I won't do anything, I'm a little sober now," Phil suggested, making air quotes when he said 'promise.'

Dan agreed, only because it was late and he didn't want to drive, well that's what he told Phil and himself, even tho that's not really the only reason why.
