Chapter 4

AJ and Punk talked about their favorite comic book characters they found out that they had a lot of things in common like music,movies,comic books and video games. Punk was really surprised to be enjoying her company and talking and debating with her. As the night began to fall they finally reached AJ's house.

"Well we're here." Punk said as he pulled on the hand breaks

"Thanks Punk. I really had fun." She beamed at him with a huge grin "well I guess I'll see you on Monday." AJ said as she began to reach for the car door. "April,wait." Punk said "Yeah?" "It's Colt's Birthday on Friday. Do you want to go." Punk asked "uhhhh... Welll...." AJ said Punk began to look down and said "oh." "No! It's not that. It's just my dad doesn't really allow me to go to parties like that. I'm sorry" AJ said. Punk just smiled at her "well you didn't reject me. And that's enough." AJ replied with a smile "so I'll see Monday." "Yeah, see you AJ."

AJ was preparing dinner while she was on the phone with Daniel

"He invited me to Colt's party on Friday." AJ said "you said yes right?" Daniel replied "No. I said I had plans." "Hanging out with your dad while he's watching Jeopardy in his underwear aren't really plans AJ." AJ looked at the dinning table while her dad,sister and brother were all seated watching Jeopardy "You know me to well Bryan." "Didn't you consider that Punk might actually really like you." "No, it's because guys like him don't fall for girls like me." "I don't know AJ, your just scared." "Scared of what?" "Scared of falling in love." "Says the guy who stares at Brianna all day and hopes for the best." "I told you I don't like Brie." "Sure Daniel, keep telling yourself that. Oh and by the way. She's actually kinda cool." "She is?!?!?" Daniel replied in excitement "yeah, she's actually pretty nice although her sister has some serious issues." "Tell me about it, I gotta go AJ mom's calling for dinner." "Ok see you tomorrow DBry." "You too, April."

AJ and Daniel were walking in the hallway together. "So AJ........ Will you talk to him?" "Talk to who?" "Well duh Punk." "We have nothing to talk about." "You should really go to that party." "I don't belong there." Before Daniel could reply he saw Brie Bella looking beautiful as always she was dressed in one of her boho inspired dresses she was smiling and waving to AJ and called "April!" AJ smiled back at her and said "hey Brie what's up?" "You're going to Colt's party tomorrow right?" "I don't know." "Come on it will be fun. You can bring your friend to." Brie said as she smiled at Daniel

April was cooking some mac and cheese for him and Ty and the doorbell suddenly rings she made her way down the front door and opened and to her surpries Punk was there dressed in a checkered button down red shirt,jeans and red Nike's his hair gelled back and he smells like he just put on some cologne AJ was taken a back by the sight. She snapped back to herself and said "what are you doing here Punk?" "I'm picking you up for Colt's party." "No, no, no Punk. You look great I in the other hand don't even have a......." Punk is now holding a red dress in his hands. AJ said "oh God. I'm a mess Punk...." Punk's sister Chaleen suddenly popped up holding a makeup kit, smiling at AJ and said "that's where I come in." AJ said "huh? What?" "Oh let's just go to your room." Chaleen replied pulling on AJ's arm. Punk laughed to himself and Ty came in and hollered at Punk "Punkster my man. You want anything to drink?" "Pepsi would be nice."

Chaleen's plucking on AJ's eyebrows "no offense April, but when was the last time you tweezed?" "Never, my mom died before I got old enough for this stuff" "you're really pretty April you just need to learn how to dress." Chaleen said as she laughed

Punk is sitting in the living room with Ty drinking pepsi and talking about some video games when suddenly Chaleen comes down from the stairs and says "Gentlemen. I would like to present you with my master piece." She smiles to Punk and Ty "Gentlemen, the new and improved April Mendez." Punk and Ty stood up and went near the stair case. But AJ isn't coming down. Chaleen shouts "April! Get your cute butt down here." Still not coming down Chaleen shouted again "April."
Then suddenly. They here foot steps coming from the stairs. They saw a high pair of red stiletto heels coming down and as April takes steps coming down Punk see's her beautiful and toned legs and going up she was wearing the red strapless dress she got her. Punk's heart skipped a beat as she was coming nearer. She was not wearing her glasses, her hair was all down in gorgeous curls, she was wearing a little bit of makeup. Punk's eyes widen in awe he never seen anyone so beautiful as AJ nears the last step of the stair case she suddenly trips of her high heels. Luckily Punk catched her and as she looked up to Punk she removed her hair away from her face and their eyes locked on each other's gaze.
