Noodles After Midnight

I'm Hungry

Larry: Best friend.
Lau: *snoring*
Larry: Lau, I'm hungry.
Lau: Go eat then.
Larry: Can I have noodles?
All he eats is noodles. But that's my best friend. The one I grew up with, and the one I fell in love with...
Lau: It's almost one in the morning.
Larry: I can have noodles.
Lau: No Larry, go to sleep.
Larry: Please.
He looked at me with his innocent eyes, and his little cute smile showing his bunny teeth.
Larry: Please, Lau?
Lau: Fine. Let's go to the store.
We put some fresh clothes on, and Larry skipped out of the house. We make it down to Mr Wungs' supermarket. He let's us get anything for free.
Lau: *Yawns* What kind do you want.
Larry: I want six flavors of Pad Thai, two of-
Lau: Kind. Not kinds.
Larry: Just give me six of Pad Thai please.
Lau: Ok.
I turned towards Mr Wung and gave him a smile.
Mr Wung: Take care boys. Get some rest.
Larry&Lau: Yes sir.
We walked back home, and I got back in the bed. Even though I didn't like noodles as much as Larry did, I really liked the Pad Thai flavor. I went back to the couch because I were to sleepy to go to the room. I smell the noodles cooking, and I start to sleep.
A few minutes later, I felt around for Patro. I didn't feel him on my lap anymore. I felt an apron.

Lau: Give me back Patro!!
I cried, like literally cried.
Lau: And give me some noodles. Give me Patro, Larry please!!
He eventually gave up, and sat on top of the couch, and handed me Patro back, and gave me my bowl of noodles.
Lau: Mm..
Larry: Ugh. I'm making another pack. For myself.
Lau: M...That's fine I'll be in my room.
We both laughed, and I went back to sleep.
Larry: I love you Lau!
Lau: I love you more, goodnight.
Larry: Goodnight, mm.
I heard him slurping on noodles before I dozed off. He walked in the room and said, "I love you, Lau." Again. He kissed my forehead and went to his room. Ugh, I love my best friend more than I should, I just don't know how to tell him.
