Almost is never enough

Chapter 3

Arianas Pov

I woke up in a unfamiliar room i got up

And looked around then i realized i was still in Justins house. I walked around the house looking for Justin i heard the front door opening and i saw Justin in pajamas with food walk in.

"Ariana i went to get us food c'mon." He called.

"Coming." I said walking towards the table. So like i guess you could say me and Justin are friends now i dont even know to be honest.

"Ari thanks for agreeing to do this i know you probably still hate me but i didn't mean to hurt you." Justin said suddenly.

"Can we save this conversation for another time." I said trying my best not to show any emotion.

"Sure." Justin said looking down. Then i saw a text message from Nathan.

Nathan ❤️- hey ari

Me- hey Nate i miss you 😭

Nathan ❤️ - me to , so i was wondering you wanna come over for a movie night or something?

Me- yees ! What time ?

Nathan ❤️- come around 5?

Me- Okay i see you then.

Nathan ❤️ - Okay Ari. ☺️

With that i checked the time and saw it was 11. I put my phone down on the table.

"So what you want to do today?" Justin said with out looking at me.

"Why dont we work on that duet we were going to write?" I said quickly.

With that we went to his music room and spent the whole time goofing around and came up with nothing.

"Well this was fun but i kinda got to go." I said picking up my bag.

"Bye Ari." Justin came and gave me a light hug i hugged back.

I drove back to my house and saw it was 4. I hoped in the shower and quickly looked in my closet to decide what to wear.

I decided on leggings with daisys on em with and a black sleeve less top with daisys on the top hem. I then put on white converse. I put my hair in my usual half up half down hair style and headed out the door.

I got to Nathans house just on time i saw his gate open and i sped in his drive way i was so glad i came in one of my less seen cars because i saw many papparazzi standing behind the gates. I quickly parked my car and ran up to the already open door. I saw Nathan standing in the door frame.

I quickly ran up to hug him. He wrapped his strong arms around me and pulled me in his house before anyone saw us.

"Hey Nathan, I missed you." I said as he realesed me.

"I missed you to Ari." He said kissing my forehead.

We went to the couch and i grabbed his arm and sat back. Nathan was like my bestfriend i hadn't seen him in forever.

"Ari you know how to play pool?" He said as he stood up.

"Yes ! " i squealed i kind of knew how to play but Nathan knew what i was going to do already. I already knew every inch of his house so i ran to the room with the pool table. I saw the balls scattered on the table i reached over and started pushing them all over the table. He just laughed and took pics of me. Then we started actually playing i won the first round but Nathan beat me the next 3 so i gave up.

"Lets go to my room and watch a movie?" He asked hesitantly.

"Sure what movie?" I giggled at his shyness.

"Well we can watch a scary movie?" He asked then chuckled.

"We can watch the exsorcism?" I said excitedly.

"Okay come on." Nathan Chuckled and pulled me along to his room.

"Here we can sit on the bed let me just put the movie and get popcorn." Nathan said looking for the movie.

"Ill get the popcorn." I giggled as i saw he was having a hard to find the movie. I ran downstairs and checked my phone i had a message from Justin and a instagram notification. I checked instagram first and saw Nathan Posted a pic of me on the pool table. Then i checked the message from Justin and decided to call.

Justin.😞 - uh why are you at Nathans house? (He said soundin a bit angry)

Me- bc we are hanging out justin. (I said annoyed)

Justin.😞- ok cool, but come to my place when your done.(he said quietly, i swear hes bipolar sometimes.)

Me- okay fine bye.

I hung up and made popcorn and ran up to Nathans room. He had the movie playing and i sat next to him burying my face in his chest at the scary parts. Besides that though we had a good time when the movie was over i said goodbye to Nathan and drove to Justins. I saw the door open so i went in.

"Look Ari even though you probably dont like me can we atleast try to be friends durring this stunt." Justin said sitting on the couch runing his hands threw his hair. I locked his front door and sat next to him.

"You know what ? Id like that alot." I said smiling next thing i know he pulled me in a light hug i hugged back. I saw this was going to be the begining of a good friendship i hope..
