Chapter 9

I started tearing up until gravity pulled it downwards on my cheeks, and I wrapped my arms around my waist and held my sweatshirt.

Knowing that I don't know the answer just makes me believe that she doesn't want to see me, nor that she loves me. I shudder when I think of the last part, and I can't help buy to cry out softly in pain. "Why did I have to move here?" I softly mumble with tears blocking it. I then felt someone wrap their arms around my waist. "Are you alright (Y/N)?" I could tell that Valt is the one hugging me. "Yeah dude are you okay, you don't look like you usually do..." Honcho said in a concerning voice. I tried to cover up my tears and stuttering as much as I could. "I'm  f-fine..."

"Yeah you aren't going to pull that off on us (Y/N)." I could tell is was Wakiya because everyone knows the kind of voice he has. Shu came up right in front of me and squated down so he could see my horrible face filled with tears. "We sort of heard everything you said when you got here...Want to say something to us to make you feeel better?" Valt let go of my waist and went next to Honcho. I guess Diago was somewhere else at the time. I then got up and fell to my knees, and Shu supported me by making me lean onto him. I hugged Shu and started crying into his shoulder, holding the ends of his shirt tighter.

"I-I'm really s-sorry guys." I couldn't hold back me stuttering because tears were rolling down my face like waterfalls. "Let's get you inside my house (Y/N)..." Shu made me let go of him and put me on Honcho's back and they walked to Shu's house. Once we got in I was laid on the couch and I sat next to Wakiya. Once I was settled down and more calm I said I needed to use the restroom. I closed the door and looked in the mirror, and I looked awful. My tears dried onto my cheeks and my face was red, also not to mention that my hair was a mess too. I fixed my face and hair as much as I could and headed back into the living room.

"Are you kidding me?! He tripped and dragged her away! They have to have some sort of relation Shu! It's like Lui's protective to her!" I could tell Wakiya still has a grudge against Lui from today at school. "So what is if she has some sort of connection with Lui? She's still out friend Wakiya!" Valt is standing with me on the argument their having. "Anyways did you hear what (Y/N) said when she was on the swing? She said something like about how her mom left her with Lui or something..." the lollipop man said. I want to get the argument over with so I decide to fake fall at the exit of the bathroom. Shu rushes to me and helps me get up. "Thank you S-shu." I sheepishly smile and he takes me to the livingroom and sits me next to Wakiya.

"So (Y/N) you still need to tell us the thing you're hiding from us..." Valt really wanted to know what it was, and I realized I couldn't really hide it anymore. I let out a sigh and started confessing. "So my mom got a job in Japan so we had to move here, and she told me I had to live with my cousin because she wants to work alone. Also because the majority of the day she's at worm so she couldn't take care of me. Apparently my couson is..." I took a deep breath "Lui...and so he has just been protecting me of stuff." I looked down at my shoes and was relieved that I got that off my chest. "Please don't tell anyone else about this..." I looked up and they all nodded. "Well it's getting dark, so you should be heading home (Y/N)..." I saw everyone leaving Shu's house and I was the last one other than him. "If you want you can stay here (Y/N), but you'd have to ask Lui." "Oh, sure. I'll ask him." I grabbed my phone out my pocket and texted Lui.

You: Lui?

Lui: I'm listening...

---

Shu looked over my shoulder to see what I was saying to him but I didn't really care.

---

You: Can I stay over at a friend's place tonight?

Lui: You only have 6 friends, and if you were staying at Gou's he would have told me already.

You: I promise to not do anything stupid...

Lui: ugh fine...

Lui: But be back at the house before 10 am

You: Thank you

So now I'm staying at Shu's place for the night.
