I literally couldn't wait to get home to see whatever is inside this box. I held it along with me so tightly every time I hit loose gravel and it the ground is to rough to ride on, I'd carry the board with me. Although it's only seven P.M, there is still some lights out but currently, the sun is halfway down but I still time to get back to the apartment complex since there is still more light in the main lobby. I live on the third level that has a large balcony where you can see the full city in the distance, even the meteor that crashed a couple months ago is still glowing; no harm though.

Once I got to my room, I laid back on my bed so briefly to look at the box, then I suddenly got nervous because I'll never know if this box may contain something suspicious inside. Anyway, I decided to take out some scissors since the box was all duck taped and cut my way through the whole box but I paused for a second, even though I already make a slit on the first part of the tape. So I took the box and shook it. Thats when I knew I could be right because I only heard small taps inside it plus some small sounds of bells. But when I tried to place it back in the bed before I can open it, the tape ripped open the box and... that pretty much scared me when I saw nothing inside it, except when I put my hand inside the box and waved it all over until I felt something hard and tingly. It felt like old wooden dice that had some scratches on it. I took it out and there it is... a single small red cube with ten holes having four on each side.

I ran with the cube and quickly took out a magnifying glass and a small book light from my desk and quickly looked at it. With the magnifying glass, I held the cube in the light to take a peak though its holes to find a small yellow glass shard inside it. Unfortunately, the book lights beam reflected through the holes and the next time I saw the shard directly at its reflection, I saw nothing but a white light allover my surroundings and this voice saying:

"This is an unspecified type of a rare space element-" until this strange vision was interrupted by my phone being rang which kinda startled me and made me drop the cube and produce a loud, DING! I quickly picked it up and run for my phone and suddenly jump back in my bed. It's my father who is calling me.

"Hey, dad, I wanna tell you something that just happened today," I said.

My father was surprised. "What is it? I was gonna tell you if anything has happened to you today, now since you told me this, I really wanna know what happened. Don't be scared, It could be something that Dr. Mars may wanna know."

"Yes, It might be something he would want to know to."

     "Tell me!"

"Very well, me and two of my friends went to Varielle's family fun center, I won one-thousand tickets, then I won a mystery box. And inside it was this minuscule red cube having a small yellow glass-like shard inside its apertures. I'm not sure what this is called." I explained with true reason,

"Really, a small red cube with a small yellow shard inside that looked like glass?"

"Of course, you may wanna have Dr. Mars analyze this."

"Okay, at least you've gotten me proof about it. Y'know what, why don't you go the lab and let me see it before you can have the doctor take a look at it." He rushed.

Then I was right, Dr Mars will probably see it after my father can look at it in person.

"Alright, I'm on my way." I placed the cube back in the box.

"But just remember one more thing before I let you go: make sure no one can see it, just like I told you to hide your powers unless this is an emergency, got it?"

"I can remember, I'll see you in the lab." I hung up and quickly took the box with the small cube inside just as I headed for my way out the door to the lab.
