~ El's P.O.V ~

I was in hoppers house. I was 16 now. Getting ready to tick or treat. I shoved on my white sheet on. I walked up to hopper.

"this is a one time thing kid ok?" He said.

"Yes." I then went to the door. I hugged him goodbye and grabbed my bag. I walked outside and walked through neighbor hoods getting candy. Soon I bumped into someone.

"S-sorry." I whispered.

"Hey it's ok! Your a ghost I'm a ghost buster I'm supposed to catch you right." He said I realized he had a strong grip on my waist holding me from the ground. I looked up.

"M-mike?" I asked without thinking.  His eyes went wide he stood me up and looked at me.

"E-el?!" He whispered his eyes filled up with tears. Shit. He lifted up the sheet. His eyes met mine again.

"H-hi." I smiled weakly. He lifted me up and spun me around.

"OMG EL I-" I covered his mouth with my hands.

"Mike, people still watch. Must be carful and quietly." He seemed stunned that I knew all the words. He gently pulled the sheet down.

"DUDE WTF WHY WERE YOU RUNNING!" Lucas yelled. Hehe I missed Lucas. He was weird. A good weird. Suddenly Dustin and will showed behind him. Then that girl max. My blood boiled.

"Yo mike where did you go." She put her hand on his shoulder. I then flung her back on accident.

"Shit what happened?!" Lucas asked.

"It was like a magnet pulling on my arm" max stared. I giggled.

"Who that?" Dustin. I walked out from behind mike and waved. I changed my voice to sound diffrent.

"I'm Uh...L-Luna!" I said.

"Yeah she's my Uh..cousin twice remove. My mom told me to come get her and take her trick or treating then bring her back home. I studied mikes features. He had changed a bit. His face got more square. His jaw got sharper, his hair curlier, he got taller. He had to look down a bit to face me. Not to much because I grew to but he still had to look down.

"Haha me and Luna need to go now." Mike grabbed my hand and scurried off. I heard Dustin and Lucas talk while max scared people.

"You thinks she really his cousin?" Dustin asked.

"Hell yeah mike doesn't miss Halloween for shit so this must be important." Lucas said.

A Mikes P.O.V ~

I ran into my front door.

"MOM IM HOME." I screamed. I ran downstairs to the basement with El.

"Home." She whispered. Which made me smile. El stood in the middle of room. I tore off the sheet.

"Before we talk mike do you have a phone down here." She smiled. I pointed to the wall. Why did she need the phone? She walked over and dialed. Number.

"Hey..." She whispered. I heard a man yell at her through the phone. I got scared for her so I can mine up behind her and wrapped my arms around her waist. He warmth made me smiled as I dug my head into her neck.

"I'm with squirrel." She stated. Squirrel. He clearly understood he gave a long sigh and said fine. She hung up soon. She turned around as my hands stayed where they were. She hugged me.

"El I missed you." I said.

"I missed you to." She smiled. Suddenly I felt a fire in me. She was alive this whole time. She didn't tell me?! I let go of her fast.

"W-what's wrong?" She asked concerned.

"You didn't think once to tell me you were alive." I said with a blank face.

"Mike please I tried" I ran over to me and put her hand on my shoulder.

"He wouldn't let me mike! I tried! I screamed at him but there was nothing I Could do! Mike I swear I heard you. Every day for 353 days. Please mike..." She whispered looking into my eyes.

"Who is he. WHOS BEEN KEEPING YOU AWAY FROM ME FOR YEARS?!" I yelled. She flinch back.

"Mike please your scaring me." She whispered. I felt bad but I couldnt help it.

"El who is he?" I asked again sitting down on the couch.

"H-hopper." She whispered.

"WHAT?!" I screamed.

"Mike hunny stop screaming."
My mom said from the top of the steps. Luckily she couldn't see el.

"Sorry mom." I said.

~ Elevens P.O.V ~

As mikes mom walked away I made it a mental note that one day I could be the person to calm mike down like that.

"Mike don't be mad at him please. He just wanted to protect me." I said sitting next to him. He sighed a long sigh.

"Mike guess what?!" I said excited. I wanted to tell him I was 16n ow! My birthday is on 18th of July.

"What El?" He said relaxing more.

"I'm 16 now! My birthday is on July 18th" I chirped. He smiled at me.

"Hehe in older then you el. I'm 17." He said as I walked over to the fort he made me once.

"Whatever mike." I rolled my eyes. He soon q what are you doing?" I giggled. He just grumbled and turned me around.

"Yes mike? What? Do you want my attention?" I giggled again.

"Yes I do all mightly El." He laughed.

"Your sooo funny mike." I rolled my eyes and went back to scanning his room with my eyes.
He just turned me around again.

"Hey El?" He asked as his dark brown eyes traveled to my lips.

"Y-yes?" I asked as he came closer. He didn't say anything else. He just came closer till the space between us was gone. His lips moved with mine. Until it got more intense. He pushed me against the wall and kissed down my neck. I giggled at the feeling.

"MIKE WHEELER." Said a women's voice. It didn't sound like his mom so who was it?!
