What if I said I want power?
But not the power to control
The power to heal
And make everybody bold
What if I said I want substance?
But not the substance that gets you addicted
The substance to look in your soul
And twist you from doing wicked
What if I said I want wisdom?
But not the wisdom to know all things
The wisdom to know your heart
So it can't break and grant your dreams
What if I said I want knowledge?
But not the knowledge to be the smartest
The knowledge to show you things
And keep you striving your hardest
Because with the substance I provide
Plus the knowledge and wisdom acquired
I want the power to look you in the eyes
To tell you to go get your prize
Therefore I am someone
Who wants good for this world
And all of it's residents
No more quitting on your dreams
You have to set the precedent
So I offer all that I have
For you to speak and be heard
Because I possess all that I wish when I speak it in words.
