" YES ! I'll go with you ." A powerful female voice shouted from across the hall , making you awe from afar after hearing yet another couple prepare for prom which was days away.

You never really thought it was important growing up but the older you've got , you realized it's a one time thing and it'll be an experience .

You turned back into the direction of your locker as you began grabbing your books.

You suddenly heard some loud music coming from outside making you raise an eyebrow , did you mention it was raining and someone really wanted to do a prompsal outside?

Eventually a crowd filled of people ran towards the exit doors , as you closed your locker deciding to see whom ever this was .

Once you started walking everyone started looking at you in aw or just to look you assumed so it was Nerve wrecking as you walked out of the building standing alone with a crowd of excited students watching you .

You looked back at them confused but someone pointed telling you to turn around and you sighed holding onto your backpack slowly turning around to hear ray-j ' s one wish being blasted from a all too familiar car .

Then you hear someone singing the chrous of the song .

" If I had one wish we would be best friends , love would never end it will just begin , if I had one wish you would be my boo promise to love you trust me I'll trust you ." He sang .

Your eyes had widen , your heart was racing because you knew that amazing voice all the time , just never heard it in ages which made you feel a little upset but you couldn't help but feel a tiny bit of joy .

Edwin continued singing as he also kept walking closer and closer to your direction .

You found this honestly iconic but hilarious because it's raining and he looked completely stupid but you did to for standing out here for plenty of unknown reasons you wanna find out .

You put your hoodie over your head once he had gotten closer and when he did he smiled that contagious smile that made you feel weak in the knees since you could remember .

See Edwin and you have been friends for like ever , you both were extremely close and thought nothing could ruin whatever it was you had until one day you knew he grew up with a passion to sing but didn't know he'd leave you behind to purse his career which you're happy about but it broke you as a whole .

You're surprised you didn't punch the shit out of him at this moment but you were willing to let everything slide.

He grabbed both of your hands and holding them tightly causing you to obviously hold his still waiting for him to say something like he missed you or surprise or hell anything of the sort .

" YN ... Surprise ? no no let me be honest I'm truly , deeply sorry for leaving you in the cold I know how hurt you are and don't say I don't because I know you too well I've always loved to sing and of course you already knew that though because I'd sing around you all the time because I felt comfortable around you and I knew you'd never judge me about anything unless you were in the mood to be brutally honest but I came all the way back to NYC to tell you how much my lame ass missed you and it took a lot in me to not come here because you still hate me but I realized , I couldn't live with myself if I didn't come down here to apologise for ignoring you or pushing you away...I miss being best friends with I miss seeing your adorable face on a regular and I just miss you ... I wanna start over and that's why I wanna take you to prom because I know if we don't show up it'll be dry as hell."

You instantly teared up but also started laughing your butt off and he noticed wipping the tears off of your face .

" You headass , I missed you too so much you wouldn't understand no matter how much I hated you ... I knew you were achieving your dream and I supported from afar and that's all I could do , but I accept your apology and I'll go to prom with you because you right about it being dry fam."

He laughed before he out of nowhere lifted you up causing you to squeal as he did .

Twirling you around and holding you tightly before he stopped and out of nowhere kissed you on the lips with so much passion it surprised the heck out of you but you enjoyed every moment because you kissed him back with the same amount .

Everyone started cheering causing you to blush , and him putting you down while your arms are resting around his neck .

" This whole ray-j stunt you pulled really got me ...it was cute and all but now my hair is wet you wannabe edwin-j ."

" You still look fine either way , so don't feel too pressed." He said with a wink before hugging you tightly .
