It didn't take her long to kill the wendigo, what took the most time was remembering how to do so. Information flooded through her mind, telling her all the ways to kill all the different forms of Zlohiel. Blades made of certain metals, chopping off the middle head, just hitting it until it stopped moving.

The wendigo snarled when it saw her, lunging for her without a thought. She sighed, moving out of the way of its sharp claws before the creature could even blink. Looking around wildly, it swiped at thin air, growling like the animal it was.

But how to kill it? She couldn't remember. There was a high chance she would eventually, but the amount of information she had to sift through to do so would take up too much time. She would have to remember the hard way. She would have to fight it.

The wendigo turned and saw her again, growling in confusion. It bared its sharp teeth at her. She stood straighter and spread her wings out, stretching them towards the trees until they brushed against the coarse bark. She glared at the Zlohiel, her eyes allowing her to see the pale skeletal monster perfectly in the dark.

She pulled, feeling magic gather around her, flowing towards her hands like a river flowing down a mountain. The darkness shot forward at her command, curling its way towards the wendigo, who looked startled at the sudden turn of events.

It ran for her, roaring loud enough to be heard of Mikhail's snores and swiping with its claws. She vaguely heard the rustle of leaves as the others woke and dropped to the ground. She didn't need their help however, it would be barely a minute before the wendigo was dead.

The darkness was wrapped around the creature's limbs by the time it was halfway to her. She pulled it up into the air, ignoring its screams and cries as it tried to escape her grasp. She tightened the magic and the wendigo screamed louder.

Panicked, Elora stuffed its mouth full of the darkness, worried that the inhuman screeching would attract deadlier foes. It choked and gagged, still trying to make noise, still trying to swipe at Elora despite being up in the air and having no way to reach her.

Tightening the darkness even more, she latched it around the wrists and ankles, the shoulders and hips, and around the wendigos neck, effectively silencing its attempts a screaming. With a small grunt, she pulled her magic back to her, her arms up to strengthen the pull. It took some effort, her arms straining and a layer of sweat forming on her skin. She looked to Nyal briefly, making sure he was alright. He stood in the grass with his arm out, ready to pull on the water he kept in a flask on his belt. She shook her head, one more pull and the wendigo would be gone.

She gathered more magic, strengthening the bonds once more before she pulled with all her might. Even though she knew it was coming, the break in the tension still sent her backwards a step. It did much worse to the wendigo, however. Her magic pulled it apart, blood and muscle and skin flying about the tiny clearing, landing with dull thuds on the ground.

Body parts were strewn all over the ground, dark blood staining the green grass. The wendigos head couldn't be seen in the dark, but she could see one of its arms sitting by Nyal's feet, the once pale skin turned dark with blood.

She breathed deeply, making the darkness disappear into the air around her. Looking down at the ground below where the wendigo had been held she could see the torso of the Zlohiel, blooding pooling around the five stumps where its limbs had been.

She heard a disgusted grunt and looked up. Ragen was pulling something red and fleshy from his hair. As she watched he threw it down to the ground to mingle with the rest of the body parts. "That's disgusting," he said, grimacing.

"My apologies," she replied, looking down at her own clothing. It didn't matter much if she had gotten blood on it, it was already beyond repair from the many stains on it. "It was the only thing I could think of. It worked, did it not?"
