Chapter 14

Mitchel's POV

The wound that I got from Adried was healed by the head nurse of the house. I was told to stay inside my room and never leave it until mother comes from Kalemdai. I was pretty okay with staying inside my room because I don't want others to see me cry. 

I thought he loved me and I thought I love him too. Everything was a lie! Why did I even thought of the possibility that someone does like me? I mean who would fall in love with someone as ugly as me? I'm a witch, I'm not human. 

In the middle of my crying, I heard a knock on my window. Only one girl knocks on my window. I opened the window and found out that I was right. It was Mary.

"What do you want?" I asked her coldly.

"Look, you're in danger and Masionet is out to get you." I close the window at her. What she's saying is ridiculous. Masionet is under the care of the top most gurads in Kalemdai, there's no way she can get our of there .

The window flew open once again and Mary came in to my bedroom, again without my permission. I have no idea why I became friends with this annoying vampire.

"Mitchel, you got to believe me."

"What you're saying is ridiculous." Just then my door flew open and my mother came in. Does privacy still exist in this world?

"What you're friend is saying is true, my love. Masionet has been long gone. The girl we are taking care of back at Kalemdai is sadly a normal child, not Masionet. You're life is in danger Mitchel. You are to go back home at Kalemdai at once."

"NO!" I yelled. I don't want to go home. I have a life here.

"I can protect myself mother and its only Masionet. " 

"And I will help her your majesty." Mother seems shocked but then she regain her composture.

"Sophia.." 

"Yes your majesty. I am Sophia La Marotes." Mary answered.

"Ceres's daughter. Well then, I allow you to stay here as long as you promise that you and Sophia will be together. You will need a lot of help in order to defeat Masionet." I nodded and then my mother turned to leave but before she was completely gone I heard her saying..

"My little girl is growing up." I turned to face Mary or should I call her Sophia now?

"Mary..I mean Sophia.. WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN! DO YOU KNOW THAT EVERY ONE IN SATURN IS LOOKING FOR YOU! DO YOU KNOW HOW EXCITED I AM WHEN I HEARD THAT YOU WERE VISITING WHEN I WAS 8?THEN YOU DARE GET LOST AND NEVER CAME BACK?" I yelled at her.

"I didn't know about that..all of my memories about when I was young got lost." She said.

"WELL I DON"T CARE. DO YOU KNOW THAT BECAUSE OF YOU I HAVE NO FRIENDS?YOU WERE SUPPOSE TO BE MY FRIEND! IDIOT." Mary smiled.

"I guess you really need me in your life, don't ya princess?" I smiled. I guess I do, I guess I do.
