I smiled upon the five pups, we were out before the sun went down. I watched Branch tackle Ivy playfully while Eagle faced of Flame and Sky. Sky and Flame charged from the sides, Eagle nimbly jumped above them and they crashed into each other. I laughed and turned my attention to Echo whom was entering our clearing. I nodded to her as she dropped three rabbits onto a sandy patch right outside the entrance to our half hill. Taking mine into the extra attachment of my den I placed mine down and raced back outside where five pups gazed. Wide-eyed they watched my every move as I grabbed the extra rabbit. "Of tf couf of free," I counted through the rabbit. "On, fu, free!" I yelp and launched the rabbit to the tree line. The pups begin to trip over each other, racing towards the prey. Eagle was in the lead until one tree root dared to step out of line. Falling down, Ivy stole the lead from Eagle. She grabbed it and began running back, green eyes wide. "I gof iy Mamah!" She mumbled around the fur. I smiled and crouched as the young fox crashed into me.

Me and Echo crept silently amongst the undergrowth. We heard the growl again and we flinched back, a horrible smell had covered all our senses in black. I peeked through the bush and saw one of the abandoned stone dens. A shiny glowing eyed creature guarded the place, a tail of black fog coming out behind it. "What is that Fern?" Echo spat, the air was thick. I shook my head and saw something familiar jump onto the things back. I realized it was the hostile! Along with it was another vixen, calmly grooming itself. Another horrid pink thing with no fur walked up on its hind-legs and closed the back to the monster. The male began to frantically bark while the vixen remained calm. I raced towards the beast, coughing. I owed him something for giving me the pups, I raced up to the monster who was beginning to jerkily crawl. Jumping through its smoke tail a landed on a flat part that was right before a wall thing. I grabbed his scruff and began to heave his larger frame out. I pulled him over the wall and the smoke was thickening, the creature began to run with the pink thing in it. The vixen shot up and snarled at me, grabbing my chest and pulling me in for a fight. I launched myself at her and the male stood on the slim part in front of the wall. He remained usure of what to do until the beast bumped and he fell out. I turned and the female pushed me forward, my gaze darkening.

I awoke to two pink things scratching their heads and examining me, the female a ways of was unconscious on the ground. I began to panic, what did they do to her? Out of the corner of my dark vision I saw seven figures watching me, we were still in woods. I felt relief, I jumped out and sprinted towards Echo and my pups, the male a tail length away. One thing turned and began to run towards me but the other put a hand on his shoulder and packed themselves and the vixen up. We began to walk home. "So, who are you? She's Echo I'm Fern and I'll reintroduce you to the pups." I ask the male, he glances towards the frisky five and shrugs. "I don't know. I was abandoned like those five were, I don't go by a name. But when I saw the pups I didn't want them to end up like me." My amber eyes dart towards the male. "How about...Savior?" I ask him hesitantly. "After all you saved the pups." He nods and yawns, he begins to pick up the pace and we follow. After we show him the den we all promise to add extensions for Echo the pups and Savior. I grab a rabbit and offer it to Savior, he looked rather thin. "We should scout out the Stone Den tomorrow, make sure those hairless beings don't come back." I nod and Savior does the same. "We should name them something." He suggests. I nod and put out the first thing in my hollow mind. "Naked things!" They all gape at me, even the pups. My ears turn redder in embarrassment. "Fine we'll go with cisco." Savior teases and we all go to sleep silently.
