Beyond the forest,
Across the ocean,
In a far away land,
Lives an angel in disguise.
She has lived for years ,
Hiding her wings,
Under her floral pink dress,
Just to be accepted by the people
Living in her land.
Cause she fears that if she revealed her wings,
They would bruise her and take her wings away and kill her,
Cause the angels in her land are forbidden,
To spread their wings and fly .
But all the angels wait,
For a day that they can let,
Their wings wide open and fly.
And I want everyone to know that they are still hoping,
For a day that they will be soaring,
Beyond the forest ,
Across the ocean,
To a faraway land.
