JJ shot right pass Brick and Brick did the same.

I ran towards JJ and knocked the gun out his hand and I looked over to Brick and he put his back at his waist.

"Are y'all fucking crazy? In my fucking house? Brick you know how I am about that shit JJ you know too!" I said looking back and forth at the both of them.

"The fuck he doing here Yas?" JJ sternly said clenching his jaw.

"She invited me." Brick said smirking looking down at his phone. I shot a mug dead at him.

"No I didn't he just showed up!" I yelled looking at JJ.

"Ight nigga well you can show ya self out." JJ said walking past Brick up the stairs. "Come on Yas." He demanded to me.

"Yas you damn well know ian going nowhere." Brick said.

"Brick please we can talk later, just go this is to much for me." I said walking up the stairs until I heard JJ's phone ring, it must've fell out his pocket. I walked over and bent down to pick up his phone the name read "Lai", I felt Brick staring my ass down. I wasn't worried about that, who the fuck was Lai.

Phone Call

Yas: Hello?

Laila: Papi?

Yas: Papi? Bitch you got the right one. Who the fuck is this !?

beep ... beep ... beep

End of Phone Call

Bitches is mad scary. "JJ WHO THE FUCK IS LAI!?" I yelled running up the stairs ignoring the fact that Brick was following me.

I bust through the room door "Jiru who is this bitch calling your phone talkin about some papi?" He ran up to me and pushed my chest hard as hell, and snatched the phone. "Why the fuck you answering my phone?" He yelled all in my face with his free hand balled up.

"I want you to touch her, you gone have a fine fight with my nine." Brick said calmly with his glock in his hand. JJ just stood in my face with a red ass face breathing down my neck.

By this time I was crying like a bitch. "JJ who is she?" I cried on his shoulder.

"Mama it's nobody, just a hoe I used to fuck with a while back." He said kissing on my neck looking at Brick knowing his blood was boiling by the sight.

I pushed JJ off of me, of course I didn't believe his bullshit ass story. "Y'all can both show y'all selves out." I said storming out my room to my bathroom across the hall.

I locked the door behind me, leaned against it and started to cry. Everything good that happens to me gets taken away. I guess god doesn't want to see happy.

*knock knock* "Yasmeen open the door."

"Brick leave, its not a joke anymore." I said listening for JJ cause that's who I really want to talk to.

"That nigga left, he probably went to his bitch, Yas?" Brick said leaning his head against the door.

I just cried and cried and cried, that's the only thing I know how to do right. I got up and opened the door right to Bricks open arms, I don't know what else to do besides go into them and embrace his YSL cologne.

He picked me up bridal style and carried me to my bed. He laid me down and sat beside me with his hands in his head. We sat in the dark quiet room beside the sounds of my sniffling for a good 5 minutes until I broke the silence ....

"Brick you don't have to stay, im a big girl." I said leaning up looking at his back side.

"Yas, I don't want you with that nigga, so come with me." He said rubbing his hands down his face.

"I'm fine baby, please go." As soon as I said that he shot his head at me I was confused as to what I said that made him look that way. "What?" I said.

He got up and said "oh I'm baby now?" I had just realized what I said.

"Oh I-I'm sorry-" I said quickly leaning up out the bed. "I didn't mea- I mean I didn't.. uh" I said stumbling through my brain trying to figure out something to say.

"It's ight babygirl ion mind." Brick said laughing, he reached his hand over and started rubbing my bare thigh. I stopped him.

"No Brick, you don't get to do that." I said removing my thigh from his grasp.

"Do what Yas?" He said putting his hand back from where I just removed it.

"I told you this already, you don't get to just come back in my life." I said getting up on my feet. He stood right up with me where he then picked me up and headed up towards my room.

"Brick put me down." I said trying to wiggle out his arms which in reality was no use.

"What's my name?" He said as he threw me on my bed and started kissing my neck.

"Brick, put me down." I said.

He put me down, and grabbed my finger and played with the promise ring on my finger.

"I know you want me, with this ring I made a promise I plan to keep." He said.

"Whatever Quan." I said as I walked out to my balcony.

He came behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist.

"I don't know how I always end up in your arms." I said barely above a whisper.

"It's cause I'm all you know..."
