Demi's POV
I was walking home with Nick and Joe discussing the plan for tonight.
"I'm gonna ask Kev if I can borrow his car" Joe says as the teenagers approach their street.
"Why don't you have your own car yet Joe? You're taking your time!" I exclaimed.
"Well, SORRY! Do you know how expensive that is! I don't see you making the effort to save for a car!" Joe spat back. I Reply.
"That's because I can't drive, Dumb ass!"
"Well learn then!" he snapped back.
"Whoa guys cool it!" Nick says as the 3 stop outside of Demi's gate.
"Right Dems, We'll pick you up at 6! Be ready!" Nick says giving her a smile.
"Ok! Oh, by the way, I invited Miley and Selena." Joe shot me a funny look when I mentioned that.
"What?! why?" He says, looking slightly annoyed.
"Because they're nice people and I wanted to. So deal with it." And with that, I turned on my heel and headed into my house to go get ready. I gave Selena a quick text.
-"Hey! :P We're all heading to the Fair at about 6! See you there? :D" I pressed Send and jumped into the shower. After my I got changed and applied my make up and checked my
phone to see a reply from Selena.
-"Heeey! :) yeah can't wait, so bored! see you then :D"
I decided not to text back. I went downstairs and sat down on the large cream sofa in the middle of my living room and flicked the TV on, browsing through music channels to try and kill time until it was time to leave. A couple of minutes later I heard the front door open and close, I turned to see who it was that had just entered and I flashed a smile when I saw that it was Dallas.
"Hey lil' Sis!" She said as she flopped down next to me on the couch. "Where's mom and maddie?"
"Shopping, I think! Hey you going to the fair tonight?" I asked curiously.
Dallas shook her head and raised her eyebrows.
"Why you asking?"
"Well...I was hoping that maybe because you're the most amazing, perfect, wonderful sister that you ar-" I was cut off mid sentence by Dallas shaking her head and giggling.
"Oh don't flatter me, yes I'll give you a ride!" I smiled and thanked her. I text Joe saying I didn't need a ride anymore.
Before I knew it was 10 to six and I was in Dallas's car on the way to the fair. I was excited. The fair only happened a couple of times a year. It was nothing special but it was a hell of a lot better than being sat at home bored. Dallas pulled up outside and I gave her a quick hug and goodbye before I got out of the car, seeing Joe, Ariana, Nick, Justin and Jasmine all stood waiting for me at the gates. "Hey Guys!" I said approaching them, they all smiled greeting me and we headed inside the fair. The place was packed full of kids screaming and cheering, the smell of popcorn and cotton candy filled the air. The atmosphere was amazing. Everybody was having fun, joking and laughing. I felt my phone vibrate. It was a message.
Selena x: "Me and Miley are here! xD where you at?"
I quickly replied telling them where we were stood. A couple of minutes later I saw them approaching us. Joe caught my eye and noticed them. "Oh great, this is gonna be wonderfully awkward." He said referring to the Justin and Miley Siuation. I just scowled at him and walked over to them greeting them both with a hug. "Hey guys! glad you could make it." They both replied and we turned to the rest of the group and there was automatically tension.
"Who the fuck invited the loony and the hillbilly?!" Justin said cockily earning laugh from Jasmine and a slight chuckle from Joe.
"What the fuck did just say?! you skinny rat!" Miley spat back getting in his face slightly. I got in between them.
"Whoa! Chill the fuck out! I invited them and if you have a problem with that go join somebody else!" Justin just smirked.
"Fine, I will, there's a lot cooler people here than you loosers!" Justin started to walk away, Jasmine immediately following him, like a lost puppy. "Dude! You coming?!" he snaps at Joe as he leaves. Joe reluctantly nods his head giving the others a smile as he leaves with Ariana
