Chapter 2: Everything has changed

I wake up to loud music coming from down stairs, I roll over and try to go back to sleep but I'm already wake so it's no use. I open my door and the music hits me immediately, I walk down the hall to the shared bathroom Taz and I have, I wash my face and brush my teeth. I stand there for a few minutes and just look at myself "good morning sexy, todays gonna be a good day." I say to myself as I shoot finger guns at myself in the mirror. I brush my tight ringlet curls into as best of a bun as I could. I walk back to my room and throw on a black shirt with a green alien on the front, some ripped dark wash jeans and put my name plate necklace on. I finally walk down the stairs into the living room, I stop say good morning to the cats as I pass them in the hall on the way to the kitchen. Once I enter the kitchen I see my mom in her panda pajamas dancing to Santeria, as she spins around she finally noticed me and grabs my hand and we both start dancing "I ain't got no crystal ball, i had a million dollar but I, I spent it all" she sang as we danced in the kitchen. I laughed as we spun around the room smiling at each other as the song ended "ok, it's time to stop, I'm dizzy" my mom says as she holds onto the cabinet. I laughed "why are you in such a good mood?" I asked as I grab 4 plates out the cabinet above me "who says I can't be in a good mood? Why do I need a reason most importantly?" " i was just asking" I said as go to put food on the plates "we only need 3, Taz isn't here" "where'd she go?" I asked as I put one plate back "To hang out with her college friends?" I stated " I think so, she said she'd be back in enough time so you, angel and her could go explore" "who's going where to do what??" Gage says as he walked into the kitchen taking his plate of the cabinet, "me, Taz and Angel are going further into the city today" I said as I lean against the cabinet eating my bacon, "what time did you go to bed last night?" Gage asked as he ate his plate "about 10:30 or so, I don't really remember I honestly don't keep track anymore" I say as I washed my plate and dried it. "So when are you going to look for a car?" My mom asked as she drank her coffee standing next to Gage, " I don't know, I have one in mind and I've been saving up. But the Dude who's selling it hasn't messaged me back" "what's his name?, where's the car? Maybe I can stop after work and ask him about it? If that's ok with you?" Gage said as he grabbed leftovers from last night for work. "I'm not sure where the car is, it's his dads, his name is Cody. I mean I would tell you where he lives or where he worked, but I don't know that, he told me if I was interested that he'd drive it somewhere so I could check it out"
"How much is he asking for it?" My mom asks "he's only asking 12,000" which I have that, but I thought with what amazing condition it's in he'd want more"my mom and Gage look at each other "Well when you go to look at it let me know, ill go with you." Gage says as he grabs his keys and kisses my mom, "ok, I'll let you know" he nods walking out the kitchen "y'all have a good day, and be careful going into the city" we nod "have a good day" we both say. I push off the cabinet and look at the clock on the wall "I'm going get ready, I don't know when angel will be here" "ok, I'm going get ready for work" I nod and hug my mom "bring me some cakes and pies home from work" she gives me a look "yeah ok sure" she says and walks to her room. I walk up the stairs and into my room. I sit down at my desk

I push my books aside and grab my iHome speakers, I turn on Spotify and the first song that comes on is Sugar, We'er Going Down. By Fall Out Boy, put my makeup bag on the desk/vanity and start my makeup.
As I'm putting on my mascara my phone begins to ring, I answer and immediately hear " HI SISTER" I breathe heavy and say "hey bitch" I hear Angel laughing "don't call me a bitch Samantha" She says I hear yelling and a car horn honking on the background "I'm almost at your house" I nod my head "ok I'm ready, just waiting on Taz" and no sooner then I said that, she comes busting through my door "Hey Hunties, I'm baccccckkkkkk" I look at her and shake my head "well the gangs all here" I say as I stand and put my makeup away "ok I'm at the door" "ok, Taz can you let her in while I put shoes on?" I said as I walk to my closet and grab my blue converse and a blue and green flannel. Taz leaves my room andi sit on my bed to put my shoes on, I stand up and grab my bag and spray on my Endless weekend body mist from Bath and BodyWorks. As I walk down the hall into the living room I hear "WELCOME SISTERS" I jump and turn to see Taz, Angel and my mom in a group hug. They open their arms and make room for me to squeeze in And we stand there for a few minutes. "Ok ladies, I'm headed to work, I won't be home until 6:30 and Gage gets off at 7" my mom says as her grabs her bag and keys, "y'all have fun, be careful and I love you sisters" my mom says as she smiles and walks outside. We turn and look at each other "so what we doing?" Angel asks " well obviously we're going downtown" Taz says "well WHERE are we going" Angel asks, i look to them "we can go see Taz's school, we can go to the mall, then get some food?" I say shrugging my shoulders "that's good with me" they say at the same time "JINX" Angel yelled and Taz looks at her "k? What's that supposed mean? I'm not your boyfriend so I ain't buying you a soda" angel puts her hand on her chest with a hurt expression on her face "wow, don't bring my baby daddy into this" "somebody shook" Taz says as she stands there "can we just leave please??" They both look at me "fine, yeah we can leave, if it's ok with miss "I'm salty because I don't have a man" is ready. Taz turns to me "do you here this bitch?" Taz asks I just look at them and laugh "y'all know y'all love each other" I say "this ain't over" Angel says as she stands up and grabs her bag.

As we're going down the crowded streets of downtown Angel is in the front seat of the car " I JUST CANT GET YOU OUTTA MAH HEAD, YOUR LOVING IS ALL I THINK ABOUT" she sang as she dances in the seat me and Taz laugh as she sings along to the song, Taz pulls into a parking spot in front of her school "so this is my place of learning" Taz says "cool" I say as I grab my wallet, phone and keys. "It's so boujee" Angel says as we step out the car, "yeah it better be if I'm paying 10 grand a semester" Taz says as she walks in front of us "wow, you must got a sugar daddy huh? That's why your always out so late" I say as we walk through the streets looking at the campus "where y'all wanna eat" Taz says as she looks at her watch "it's 2:45" say States as we stand in the middle of campus, the busiest part of town. " I don't know, pizza? Wings, Chinese?" Angel says, "pizza and wings sounds really good" I say as we start walking again they agree and we continue to walk to papi's pizza "what the hell kinda name is papi's pizza?" Angel asks as we stand in line outside "is is Mexican pizza like Taco Bell?" Angel asks as we get closer in line. Taz and I shake our heads "no dummy, it's just called that, i don't know why" Taz says, as we walk inside there's a boy standing to the side "hi, welcome guys I'm Marty and I'll be serving you guys tonight" he says as he takes us to our table we sit down and he asks us what we want to drink "and what would you like baby" I wasn't really paying attention, texting on my phone and I look up and everybody was looking at me, "oh, my bad, a water is fine thanks" I say as I finish my text he walks away and I look up "did he just call me damn BaBY?" I ask they start laughing hysterically "yes" Taz says in between fits of laughter. We finally get our food and at the end he brings our receipt "you ladies have a nice night" he says as I grab the receipt. As I walk out I hand Taz the receipt "he wrote his number on it for you" I laughed "umm no that's for you BABY" She says as her and Angel start to laugh again "I'm good, I just got rid of one pet. I don't need another" I say as we walk into a shoe store "wow that's rude, don't be rude to Tyler re" Angel says I laugh as I walk up to a pair of black knee high flat boots "how much are they" "only 40" I say as I look for my size "ain't no body got that type of money" Angel says "I do" I reply "really?" She replied as she walks to the boots next to mine, also a black pair but ankle Length with laces up the front. " I like these" She states "hOw MuCH?" I ask "nun your damn business" I shake my head. I grab a pair and walk toward the check out, "where the hell are you going" I turn around "buy these" "um I think not" Angel says as she try's to take the boots out of my hands "nope" I hold them high in the air "you do know I'm taller then you right?" She says as she stand in front of me "yeah, bitch do I look like I care? Nahh" I said "get your baby paws off them re" "NO" I say as I get to the register, I hurry and pay "can I have Another bag please?" I ask the lady "sure" she's says. I walk up to ang and give her the bag "your welcome, tell taka there's a new sugar daddy in town" I say.

We finally get home after we dropped off Angel, and I get home and take off my shoes. I grab a book and head to the bathroom to start a bath. After I bath and sit back and relax I finally get out and go to bed.
