Chapter One: Father Fraud?

This story takes place way later in Season 2 (possibly 3?). I think something like this would be cool. I didn't know how this would make sense, but I figured it out...mostly. What do you think will happen? Ok...I'm asking why? Read ahead and find out!

Monday, November 12th. The guys were at school, trying to balance their teen years and hero lives like usual. Starting fresh at a new school wasn't easy. Saving the city wasn't any easier. Luckily, having their new teammate join them made things less stressful. She still had some things to learn though. Perhaps, they all did.
  The oldest member doesn't go to school. This made sense, considering he's like 30. He stayed back and kept his eye on the Mech. He made sure systems were up and running. That if there were extra repairs needed to be done he would take care of it. His creation led to many lives being saved. And thanks to the band of teens piloting it, Bay City was in good hands.
  Currently, the intelligent adult was trying to find some information. You see, the location of Ryan's father required some searching. This was different. This was actually meant to be a surprise. The Mech X4 creator was locating Ryan's mom. The sudden look of hope and joy in the technopath's eyes made Leo smile. He wanted that for him. He wanted Ryan to feel some kind of happiness while dealing with all the craziness of being a high school student/pilot of a giant robot. He may be powerful, but he is a kid. And for a kid, it's a lot to handle. Why not lighten the mood with some good news?
  Leo had asked Ryan for a sample of his DNA. Though she could be somewhere in the city, this will help the process. Randall never did drop any specific details on what she looked like. It was a smart move though. So, maybe some of Ryan's DNA might jump start the process. And with it being in the hands of a genius scientist, how hard could this be? Literally, that's a question because I'm not a scientist.
  As Leo processed the DNA through the computer, something had came up. The first go was not only a failure, but a real mouth dropper. The mother was not found. She didn't come up at all. However, the father had shown up. His face brought a stunned reaction to the man. Now, why was this so bad? It's Randall. Randall isn't a bad guy. He's Ryan's father. He ran way to protect him. How would all of this even send Leo into shock? Well, that was the thing. What if told you...that Randall isn't what he proclaims to be?

"Oh my god..."

Those were the only words that could form in Leo's head.
