Junhui puts Minghao down on his bed. He was about to leave when Minghao tugs his sleeve.
"Stay." He says.
"Do you recognise me now?"
"Stay." He says again.
The boy nods and gets into bed with Minghao.
"I love you." Junhui whispers.
Minghao closes his eyes.
"I love you." Junhui says again.
Minghao smiles.
"I love you." Junhui snuggles in with the other boy.
Minghao starts to snore and Junhui sighs to himself.
"I love you." He whispers one more time.
And for a second, he swore that Minghao said it back.
