"You're going tonight wether you like it or not!"
Anastasia yelled to me from across my room.

She was talking about the carnival in town.

I rolled my eyes and huffed at her, pretending I didn't want to go but really I did. Anything clown related is extremely interesting to me at the moment. It's been a few weeks since that incident with Pennywise, he still hasn't come back. There were so many questions to be asked again, he always leaves me with them...which I like actually. What did he mean by, "My feelings will grow."? Was he saying he likes me?
It was all so confusing and I wanted to know more so badly! But I couldn't do anything to find him or get answers. A few days ago I did go back to the woods I saw him in the first time we met eyes, but it was just empty.

After a few minutes of me complaining to Anna and acting like I didn't want to go, I soon "gave up" and told her I would. Excitement overjoyed her, she jumped over my bed to get to me and hugged me tightly, making me stumble a bit.

"Thank you, Thank you!! We will have so much fun!" Just you wait!"

I smiled at her sudden actions and giggled.

Time Skip, 6:18pm

I stared into the bathroom mirror as I drew in my eyebrows. I was getting ready for the carnival.

*drops eyebrow pencil*

"Shit"
I said as I leaned down and reached for the pencil. It rolled under my vanity. I carefully reached under not looking at what I was grabbing for, just letting my hand find it. Once I got it I leaned back up and I looked over to the shower, making me think about Pennywise and everything that happened with him in there. I smiled at the thought of it all.

I then looked back over to the mirror still slightly smiling and immediately something caught my eye, making a shocked expression over my face. I could feel my heart beating so rapidly at the sight. It was Pennywise, standing just a few steps behind me. I quickly turned around to face him, but nothing was there. I paused for a second then thought to check my room, I darted out the bathroom as quickly as possible and scanned my bedroom, he wasn't there. I let out a sigh and turned back around, walking back to the mirror while telling myself I was just seeing things. I got excited too quickly.

I finished up my makeup and checked my phone for the time. It was 6:34pm,

"Anna should be here any moment"
I thought while turning off the light and walking out the bathroom. I reached for my bag and got my stuff together to leave.

I sat on the couch waiting for a text from Anastasia to tell me when she's here. All the lights were off, the only light was coming from the slightly opened curtains on the sliding glass door, for a second I thought I saw a red balloon on the balcony but I ignored it. I didn't want to get my hopes up again. Pennywise was probably gone and I was still here waiting for something to happen. I didn't want to give up.

*Ding Ding*

My phone screen lit up,

"HEY IM HERE! Sorry it took so long, Jared decided to take his sweet little time getting ready...😒😂" - Anna

"Finally" I whispered.
I reached for my phone and texted her back.
Then picked up my bag and headed down the stairs to my door. I opened it letting the chill air hit my face.

I ran over to Anna's car and hopped in. I look in the back to see Mia and Jared fighting over some twizzlers and then look back to Anna as I  raise my eyebrows while trying to hold in a laugh. They are adults and yet they always act like little kids.

6:57pm - We arrive. -

"Oh hell yeah! The carnival is open til midnight!" I hear Mia yell while we are walking through the entrance of it. I smile a bit at Mia's excitement.

As I was entering, I heard the sweet sound of families laughing and accordion music, plus the wonderful scent of cotton candy and popcorn.

"I smell popcorn! Oh can we please get some?" I asked Anna while grabbing her arm and pleading like a little kid.

"What! I thought you hated popcorn?"
She replied with a shocked face.

"That's right, I do hate popcorn...I wonder why I crave it all of a sudden..."

"But I mean sure if you want it!" She added while giggling a bit.

"Thanks, I don't know why I want some all of the sudden." I replied slightly confused with myself.

As we were standing in line for the food, I noticed some accordion music that really took my ear. It was played so immaculately, I had to know where it was coming from. It's almost like something was drawing me towards it. So I left the line without anyone noticing and followed the tune. I went through crowds of people and took turns every which way. As I was walking I blocked out the sound of people talking and focused on the music, it got louder and louder as I kept following it. Soon I found myself in a crowd of children dancing. They were dancing to the music. I could make out from what it looked like an orange haired person sitting in a chair with an accordion in the center of the children dancing. A short gasp came out of me.

"Pennywise!"
Immediately went through my head.

I walked fast over to the orange haired person. The closer I got, the more it was him. The same color hair, same style and form, soon I saw a big white fluffy collar around his neck.

"It has to be him!"
I thought.

I was right behind him now, he turned his face to me, now looking straight into my eyes. It was Pennywise. He slowly smiled at me letting drool fall from his mouth as he started to laugh.

The accordion music got faster and faster making my heart beat faster also. He didn't take his eyes off me the whole time while doing so. I stood there staring also, I didn't want to take my eyes off him. It was scary but also exciting.

"Hey are you alright lady?"
A little boy said looking up at me while gripping my sleeve, making me snap out of the trance I seemed to be in.

"Ya look like you saw a ghost." He added.

I looked back over to Pennywise. He suddenly wasn't there anymore, it was just a normal orange haired clown in the chair, just smiling and laughing while playing the accordion, except he wasn't playing the same song that got my attention.

"Y-yeah I'm fine, thank you." I told the kid.
He nodded and went back to his friends.
I stood there staring at the clown, still in shock.
