she's being more artificial than usual, and i mean sophia. not millie. but she's being weird because she's hanging out with millie.
she always walks to the bathroom with millie and sadie, and i sure hope she's just friends with them, not having a threesome or some shit.
it really worries me because she doesn't sit at our lunch table anymore, and whenever i try to talk to her, she acts like she didn't hear me.
it really hurts me because i've been her best friend since preschool. maybe even longer since our moms are pretty good friends.
at least with sophia gone, the table is quieter. today, wyatt and i started planning halloween costumes. like, we were thinking a couple's costume.
my first suggestion was ketchup and mustard. he turned it down because he thought it was "too common." i then suggested a yin and a yang and he said "too artificial."
he then smacked the table and loudly said "i have an idea." it sort of scared me because i didn't know he was gonna smack the table.
"and it is...?" i asked, tapping my fingers along the wooden table.
"we can be kurt and blaine from glee!" he cheered. "it's so original and totally not fake or artificial or common!"
"that's actually not a bad idea, i didn't know you could think of anything." i said, speeding up the pace of my finger tapping. "we're getting matching warbler suits."
"that's perfect." he said, scooting closer to my side. and our voices were silent after that.
but our heartbeats were loud and clear.
