People were confused so here is what's going on so far...
» Jessica leaves a local music store and has a strange and close encounter with a boy, sooner to be named as Ashton.
» She just moved to a new apartment in New York and made friends with Calum, her new neighbor.
» He takes her out to lunch as a "welcome to the neighborhood" type of thing, where he introduces her to Ashton as his best friend.
» Ashton is so attracted to Jessica is makes her feel uncomfortable and all these horrible memories coke flooding back from a past she doesn't want to relive.
» Jessica's brother, Tyler, comes to visit unexpectedly to get away from their horrid home life. They go grab breakfast where they find Ashton in the same restaurant as him.
» Ashton gets jealous with Tyler and assumes they're together and he can sense something's wrong. They eye each other for a bit and then Jessica takes Tyler and heads back to apartment.
» Tyler questions her about everything but she brushes it off, trying to act strong for her younger brother.
I'm so sorry this was confusing, I wrote the last chapter at like 2 in the morning because I felt so bad that I have not updated in so long so I just put something together. I will most likely re-write it soon, then get back to the original plot. But I hope this cleared things up for those if you who we're confused!
