( sorry for not updating lately! I've been crazy busy)

Noah's POV

"Hmmm.. What should I wear today?" I thought to myself as I was getting ready, then rephrased the question - What should I wear for Rebecca? It's a silly, dumb thought, I know, but I want to impress her. She's my best friend but I've been in love with her for years. I wish I could just tell her already ... The way she makes me feel when she gives me that cute grin while laughing after we do something stupid or tease each other ... When she flips her blonde hair over her shoulder ... Focusing on her when she's in deep thought instead of focusing on my own work ..

"Noah! Hurry up!" My mom yelling at me from downstairs snaps me out of my little daydream. I decide on my favorite pair of jeans and Rebecca's favorite hoodie of mine. She'll probably end up taking it by the end of the day because she loves to wear it, buts that's perfectly fine with me. When she does decide to give it back to me, her perfume is left on it and drives me absolutely crazy.

When Language Arts finally comes around, I see Rebecca sitting in her seat.

"Hey Noah" she says with that adorable smile of hers that just makes me go crazy on the inside.

"Um hey Rebecca" I say, blushing uncontrollably at the thought of how much I want her.

"You ok? You're acting really weird."

"Um ya. Perfectly fine" I lie to her. God I want to tell her but I just ... Can't.

All throughout class I keep playfully tugging on her braid, each time getting closer to saying "I love you" when she turns around with her little "pouting" face she does that amuses me. Ahh she's so cute .. And I want her to be mine ...

When schools finally over, I immediately text Rebecca, asking how her day went. I know she had a science presentation in science, so I let her ramble on to me about how nervous she was and how it went, then I reassured her that I'm sure she got an A+ like usual. When we run out of things to talk about, I decide to go for it. I had just had a monster and my adrenaline was pumping to I just did it.

N: guess what?

A: what?

N: I know someone who likes you
