Just Friends

Anna's POV

Yesterday couldn't have been anymore perfect. After I got back home from going to Noah's, we just texted the rest of the day. Turns out that he's liked me for about as long as I've liked him! Last spring, he realized that he wanted to become more than friends, but has just been trying to gain enough courage to actually make it happen. But we just texted ... And texted ... And texted ... And I could not get the smile I had plastered on my face to go away, but it's not like I wanted it to.

I really do hope that we last a really long time ... I mean, we're seriously perfect for each other! We've known each other since forever basically, so I know everything about him, and he knows everything about me. It's kinda funny, though, because I've helped him with past girlfriends and he's helped me with my past boyfriends. Who knew that one day he would actually become my boyfriend and I, his girlfriend? Wow. It's also hard to believe how sudden it all happened ...

There are still some little kinks we need to work out ... Like when we're gonna tell our parents ... But they'll (hopefully) be ok with it! I mean, our moms have been best friends for years, like since college! Our families always spend the weekends and summers together, and there hasn't been a year where we don't go to Disney with each other!

I'm just still so, so happy ....

Noah's POV

Wow. Did yesterday really happy? Am I really calling my best friend my girl friend? It's just .. Unbelievable. I still can't believe that Anna has liked me for as long as I've liked her ... Just wow.

I'm not sure when I'm gonna tell my parents, but they'll be ok with it. I mean, they've been ok with every other girl friend I've had, and they love Anna .. What could go wrong?
