"Bonjour Wilford" you said with a slight smile, going back to your book. Wilford, the man who had been following you, was loved by everyone in town, besides you. His narcissistic personality turned you off. But perhaps the oddest thing about him, was that he has a pink mustache. Nobody in the town seemed to mind it, nor were they weirded out. Wilford grabbed the book and examined it. "Wilford, may I have my book, please?" You said, slightly irritated. "How can you read this? There's no pictures" Wilford said, ignoring your request. "Well, some people use their imaginations" you replied with a small chuckle. Wilford glanced at you for a moment. "Y/n, it's about time you got your head out of those books" he said as he tossed the book onto the ground, "and paid attention to more important things" Wilford finished. You had leaned down to pick up your book, but looked up at him with a confused look. "Like me" Wilford said with a chuckle. You rolled your eyes and stood up with your book, cleaning it off. "The whole town's talking about it. It's not right for a woman to read." Wilford stated. "Soon she starts getting ideas.....and thinking" Wilford said with a shudder. "Wilford, you are positively primeval" you said, trying to walk away. "Why thank you y/n" Wilford said while putting an arm over your shoulders. "Whaddya say you and me take a walk over to the tavern and get to know each other better?" Wilford said, starting to walk you to the tavern. "Maybe some other time" you said quickly. The girls from before, who had been listening in on the conversation, ranted to each other. "What's wrong with her?" "She's crazy" "he's gorgeous" they complained. "Please, Wilford. I can't" you said, pulling yourself away. "I have to get home to help my f/m" you began to back up. "Ha ha ha, that crazy old loon, he/she needs all the help he/she can get" Wilford and the second man laugh. "Don't talk about my f/m that way!" You say, aggravated. "Yeah Glitch, don't talk about her f/m that way!" Wilford shouts while hitting Glitch on the back of the head. Wilford and Glitch appeared to be twins, but there were differences. Glitch was probably an inch or two shorter than Wilford, his hair was a little bit longer, and he didn't have a mustache. Wilford was well built, while Glitch was a bit smaller. Wilford spoke with an odd and unrecognizable accent, while Glitch spoke with a slight stutter. "My f/m's not crazy! He/she is a genius" you announce. Just then, you turn to see smoke coming out of the kitchen. You run to the door and make your way inside, while Wilford and Glitch laugh hysterically.
