(1st POV)

– Naya-chan, bring this to this address, my mother ordered.

– Yes, mother, I said and left with the take-out food.

------------------------------

(3rd POV)

– Kitajima-san, your daughter is very diligent, a regular customer praised.

– Yes, Naya-chan is my pride. She's pretty, smart, diligent and kind, Kitajima Haru smiled fondly as she thought of her younger daughter.

– Maya-chan, is also not so bad, another regular customer said. Is just that she's not cut out for this kind of work as Naya-chan. If I could say it, she's more better suited for showbiz. Theater showbiz to be more exact.

Kitajima Haru almost dropped a plate.

– Please don't joke like that, she said. Maya-chan is average.

– No, Kitajima-san. You should realize that your daughter has a gift for acting. She might even be a prodigy.

Haru didn't say anything back as she started to reflect over things.

– Unfortunately we are poor so I don't have any money that could make her enter the showbiz.

– Then we just gotta work harder, right mother?

Everyone suddenly jumped. It hadn't even taken five minutes yet.

– Back already?

– Yeah it wasn't to far away. By the way mother I couldn't help but hear this however Maya-onee should be given the chance to show the world what she can do. Regardless of the prize. If I think about Maya-onee has actually a lot better chance than most actresses in Japan to actually make it.

– Naya-chan what are you...

– Mother, if Maya-chan one day wishes to become an actress you should allow and support her is what I'm saying. Besides I'm certain dad would have wanted her and me not to be bounded by our financial situation and spread our wings.

Haru thought through and she remembered her husband. That kind husband of hers who was such an optimist to a fault. She sighed with a smile and went back to work.

---------------------------------------

(1st POV)

I knew her smile meant that she was taking what I said with consideration that could lead into a yes.

– I'm back! Maya-onee said as she returned.

– How did it go? I asked her.

– Nothing troublesome, by the way Naya-chan there's going to be a theater and this girl in our neigborhood challenged me saying that if I could deliver all ordered food before midnight she would give the theater ticket to me.

– Is that so, good luck then, I said knowing she would be able to.

– Naya-chan, don't encourage your onee-chan. Delivering one hundred and twenty take outs alone before midnight is impossible, and even more in this snowy weather, our mother said.

– Then mother if she is able to, I started and approached mother as I whispered in her ear. Hasn't she then proved that acting is her purpose in life. How about it mother? Shall we bet. If Maya can't make the deliveries she will simply have to realize the reality of our situation however if she is then it's worth making an effort mother.

------------------------------------

(3rd POV)

Haru-san loved her youngest daughter but she remembered that her daughter didn't even seem like a thirteen year old child sometimes.
