Bon quickly pulled a small mirror from his back pocket and checked to see if his hair was still in the shape he'd modeled it in this morning.

'All good. Now the girl. Ah, right there.' Bon said to himself as he spotted Flo waiting at the side of the cafeteria. He walked over to her and greeted her.

'Oh, hi Bon! Wanna go sit over there?' Flo asked, pointing to an empty table on the other end of the cafeteria. 'Well, actually, I wanted to go somewhere where I can talk to you alone, without anyone bothering us. I know, it may sound real weird and crazy, but you have to trust me. I'm not gonna do anything crazy, promise.' Bon said as he held out his hand.

Flo grabbed it and shook his hand. 'Alright, I believe you.' she said.

Bon took her across the cafeteria, into a seemingly endless array of halls, until he stopped at an old door at the back of an empty hall.

He looked around for a bit, then he said:

'Okay, now that we're alone, I gotta be honest with you about my heritage. I just had to make sure we were alone, because most of the time when people hear my accent, they start making fun of me.' Bon said with a frown on his face.

'But... Where are you really from then?' Flo asked.

'I'm...' he paused. 'I'm really from Scotland.' he said with a Scottish accent.

Flo started smiling and said: 'How could people make fun of such a lovely accent?

I think it's totally adorable, actually. You should see -or hear- the many different Dutch accents that exist. Of course the people with an accent get made fun of, but do they care?

No way! They couldn't be more proud of their heritage! And so should you, Bon. Go and be proud of your unique heritage and background, Scott.' Flo said with a determined look on her face. 'Will do. But first, this...' Bon said with a smirk, and with that, he wrapped his arms around an unsuspecting Flo, and kissed her. Since Flo hadn't seen it coming, she was a little hesitant during the first few seconds of their lips touching. But then, she gave in and leant in a little closer. She put her hands around Bon's neck, and played with his dark curly locks for a bit.

Did he... No way he coincidentally stumbled upon thát part of her notebook. Although, she'd faked paying attention to the teacher in the hopes of him reading her confession.

Bon opened his eyes and released his lips from Flo's.

He said: 'I... I gotta be real honest with you about something right now. Please don't be mad. I-'

'You read more than just the new lyrics I was working on?'' Flo cut him off. 'I know. I kind of faked paying attention so you'd hopefully, coincidentally read that part. Or didn't you and did I just reveal my true freakish nature? In that case, forget what I said...'

Bon's eyes widened.

'You wanted me to read your journal? So I don't have to be embarrassed about it?' he said giggling.

'That's right...' Flo said blushing.

'I already like you, little lady. A lot, actually, you know?' Bon smiled.

Flo smirked: 'I already love this school...'

Bon gently picked up her chin and kissed her once more.

'You have some lovely lips right there. So soft... So kissable...'

he said while looking at her mouth.

Flo giggled and said: 'That kiss of yours came rather unexpected, but that's what I call a pleasant surprise...'

'Hm... One more then, before class starts?' Bon asked her, smirking.

Flo pointed at her lips and arched her eyebrow.

He kissed her for the last time, this time using a little tongue.

Their tongues touched and the kiss turned full-on french.

The bell rang.

'See you after school, Baby Blue...' Bon said, smirking and giggling.

'Until then, stud...' Flo smirked and walked away.

Bon waited until she was out of sight.

'Score.' he said to himself.

A little earlier, at the school gym

Brian waited and waited, but no sight of Gina.

She hadn't seemed like one of those girls that blow things off at the last moment, so it couldn't be that she'd decided not to go, right?

Or was she jus-

'Hey Brian, ready for some singing?' Brian all of a sudden heard a familiar voice say.

Gina was standing next to him, with that everlasting smile of hers.

'Oh, hi Gina! Sure am... You too?' he said.

'Yeah, let's go!' she said excitedly.

Brian pushed open the door of the gym.

'After you...' he said smiling.

'Thanks'

He closed the door behind them.

'Guess I'll start... This song I wrote with Tom, the old rhythm guitarist of the band, who recently left. Oh and by the way, we're auditioning Flo for the part of rhythm guitarist this afternoon at Bon's place, you can come along if you want.' Brian said.

'Sure! But let's hear your song...' Gina answered.

Brian started singing and the sounds of his beautiful voice filled the room.

Gina was captured by his soft voice. She'd never heard something this beautiful.

Then came the chorus of the song, and came out the real roughness in Brian's voice.

Goosebumps developed on Gina's arms. She had been struck by the power of the manly sounding voice of this boy. When the song ended, all she could say was:

'Wow. That was...'

'Bad? Oh trust me honey, I know I'm bad. But, like I said, I don't care.'

'No! It was the complete opposite of bad! It was amazing!!!' she said in disbelief.

'You're shitting me now, ginney.' Brian said with a serious look on his face.

'First of all: what's a ginney? Second of all: I'm dead serious, Brian. You're very talented, and I'm not just saying that because I like you. It's also because-'

'Wait, wait, wait... You like me?!'

'I do...' Gina said with a sheepish grin on her face.

'I- I've never had a girl admit to my face that she liked me, this is new...' Brian blushed a bit and smiled.

'You're just so cute, you know that? You're actually extremely adorable. Actually, why don't you take me out to see a movie sometime? I'd love to get to know you better.' she said.

'Why the hell not?' Brian giggled. 'Friday night at seven, sound good?'

'Sounds great.' Gina answered smiling.

The bell rang and the both of them got their things.

Before walking to her next class, Gina walked up to Brian and kissed his cheek.

'I'll... I'll see you around. Bye..' she walked away giggling, leaving Brian standing there somewhat shocked, somewhat overjoyed by what just happened.

'Bah- Bye, Gina...' he stammered.

She turned around once more and winked at him with those big deer eyes he secretly already loved so much.
