"Cassandra. For the last time, I am NOT going to the party," Kat said, her arms crossed.
"Why not? Grace is going, JC and Leo are going, Milo is going, I'm going, and we might drag Tom along, too." Cassandra said. The aforementioned JC ate a fruit snack in response to this statement.
"Because, those assholes are always calling me a cunt!"
"And you can fuck up their lives there." Kat grinned at that. Tom began to open his mouth, presumably to yell something about safety, but Grace whapped him with her book.
"OK. Fine. Just don't give me a-"
"MAKEOVER!" Cassandra yelled, dragging away Kat.
****** CONFUZZLING TIME SKIP********
"Wow, Kat. I mean, I know I'm good at makeovers, but this surpassed my expectations!" Cassandra said. Katalyst shot her a death glare through her eyeliner.
"I don't like it," she said, gesturing towards her black dress and crystal skull necklace. "Where am I supposed to hide my knife?" Cassandra smirked and hitched up her pink dress slightly, revealing a dagger strapped to her leg.
"Newbie. Just strap it here. C'mon, we gotta go." Cassandra and Kat rushed out. I watched as Grace dragged a screaming, frothing Tom down the ladder. JC ate another pack of fruit snacks. Leo turned towards me.
"Milo, you go first. Also, is that your dress fedora?" I grinned, scrambling down the ladder.
"Yes, Leo, it is indeed my dress fedora." I reached the ground and ran after the rest of the gang, not bothering to wait for JC and Leo. High school in general was not fun (What? You thought murder was a full-time job?), but parties could be, as long as there were no carrots. Besides, parties had an additional benefit- murdering could be put on hold.
