The next day,Gold went to his shop expecting Lacey. She was waiting for him with a huge grin on her face.
"Hello,dearie..." Mr.gold said slightly annoyed.
She looked into his eyes."Oh,hey. I got the tickets." She poured some wine into a glass. She handed to Gold. But he didn't take it. Instead,he got a piece of paper and started to write.
"How long will be gone? Two days?" He said hopeful.
"Well...um...a week." Lacey had a sly smile.
"A week!?" He shot at her. "Fine..." he said trying to calm down. On the paper he wrote: gone for a week,please don't enter.
Lacey sighed. "Really?"
"Yes." Gold said. "I need to head down to the sherif's office." He said while leaving.
"Ill come too!" She said.
"I'll think it's best if you no----" he was about to Finnish when he relized she was already waiting for him in the car. He climbed in and drove away. When he got there he called out for Graham.
"Hello?" He said,but not to loudly.
"Ah,if it's not my favorite costumer." Graham called out. Gold rolled his eyes and walked up to him. He hated his place. He been behind those bars ten times to many.
"Im leaving for awhile. I want you to make sure that nobody goes into my shop. If you fail to do so,well...." Mr.gold smiled and walked off.
