March 20, 1770 Evening

I have told Adam of what I read, showing him the entry. He said he always knew she was different. He accepted her! I think it's because she's had too many boys around her in her life. Once I find her I am going to send her to church to have a pastor clean her from this sin. I'm even planning to send her to a nun school. I will not accept this! She is my daughter, not my son.

Adam and I argued over this. Adam says she is free to be a man if she wishes, and shall not go to church or the nun school. I was going to protest, but I know better not to. He is the man of the house and rules over me, I must do as he tells me to. Like mother always said "do as your husband tells you and live on."
