I saw my mom, standing in an open field. Aside her nothing but clover, wild flowers, white heath asters, and tall fox tails. I stared and she came towards me, i was standing on the edge of a forest.
"M-mom" I felt a tear come down my cheek
"Its okay dear" she came closer
It didn't seem like her, she was pale, a ghost in the light
"I miss you" i said, she went to come hug me
BEEP BEEP BEEP
I wake up and my cheeks are slightly wet
I must've had a bad dream, I wipe my tears and stand up to look out the window
Its a beautiful fall morning, and i am just on time to get to work early today
I go to the mirror and apply some light makeup to my pale face, i put my work clothes on which is a skirt and a brown shirt to match, I pin on my name tag "Sage ^.^" then i tie my tiny black sneakers.
I grab my bag to out my belongings in and i leave my tiny apartment. I have a job thay can barely afford my apartment so unfortunately i do not have a car yet
I work at this adorable little coffee shop which is close enough to walk to (thank goodness)
I walk into town which is in a very small part of michigan
I walk into the door and the other employees greet me
"Hey Sage" the one server greets me
"Hiya Ryan" I say going to the back and putting my belongings into my small locker
The day goes by slower then ever, then a very very handsome man that i have been admiring ever since he walked into the small little building i work in.
"Hi sir, how are you today" I walk over to him and hand him the small menu
"Hello ma'adm, i am doing just wonderful" he opens the menu and starts to gaze over it
I walk back to go finish my other tables
when i finished the other lady told me to go home since it was already past my end time
I pack my things and i start to walk out the door
As i walk home it began to get windy and very cold so i was shivering, about 2 blocks from my house i hear footsteps behind me so i speed up a little not looking at whats following me
I hear a stern voice say "whats a young lady like you doing out here alone?"
it was the man i was just serving
"I-i was jusy going home" i stand still
"I bought you a nice hot coffee"
He catches up with me and hands it to me
"Thank you, there was no need to do that" i look taking a sip
This man had to be in his late 20's and he was built, oh boy was he cute
"Do you mind me walking you home?" He looked at me and i froze
"U-uh i mean you are more then welcome to but i am used to walking home alone"
"Well, i dont mind walking with you"
As we walk home we talk about little things, like when i turned 18 a few months ago and how my life is going, we talked about how his father owns all these companies and that hes going to be the owner one day
He was pretty interesting
As we get the the apartment my coffee is cold and i was still shivering
"Well ill see you at the coffee place again" i smile like a child
"Of course little one"
"Goodnight" i wave
He heads off into the darkness
Well i guess today was a pretty cool day, i unlock the door and then drop my stuff on the ground
I come into the living room and see cat food all over the floor
"Earl? Did you do this" i look at my tabby cat and he comes running over
I pat his head and he continues to eat while i pile the food into his bowl again
I play pandora on random stations and i take a shower

The next morning is Saturday so thankfully i do not have to work today
I put on a black crop top with a black skirt and knee highs with black shoes
I put on a coat and head out to do a little shopping for the week
I head to the local grocery store (yeah fun right)
I grab cat food (for my beloved earl), i grab some vegan patties, tofu, chickpeas, broccoli, and a whole bumch of other veggies
As i go to check out i hear a familiar voice
"Hi" i begin to blush
"Hey, i am surprised to see you here" the man says
Hes always in the same damn suit
I was getting checked out and had a few bags i begin to walk out
"Let me take you home" he takes a bag and begins to take me to his car
"Its fine, i have done this before" i follow
He ignores me and we stop a a very nice black 68 chevy camaro
He places my groceries in the back seat and opens the door for me to get in
"You dont have to do this"
"I know i don't"
I roll my eyes and get in the car and wait for him to get in on his side
He slams his door shut and plays with his keys to find the right one
I starts the car and backs up and begins to hesd to my house
"So what is your name" i look at him
He is adorable when he is driving
He glances at me and smiles
"Michael" he continues to drive
"Im Sage" i look out the front window
"Ive seen your namd tag dear" he smiles and laughs
I take a deep breath
"uhm just wondering but why did you decide to walk me home and all of this" i look at him
He mames eye contact and looks away right away
"Because, i am a nice guy and you are very sweet and deserving of this"
"You don't even know anything about me" i look away
"Well let me get to know you" he pulls up to my house and he locks the doors in his car so i cant get out
"How?" I look at him
"Tuesday night, ill pick you up at 6:30 to go to dinner, sound fair?"
"Uh sure" i smile and he unlocks the door and he gets out and opens my door quickly
I go to get my groceries but he bet me and already started taking them to the door
I open the door for him and he sets them in my kitchen
"Well thanks for the ride home" i smile and getting all blushy and red
"No problem darling, your apartment is very cute" he looks around
"He give me a hig goodbye"
He his so much bigger than i am and he his built, he is gorgeous
I stand on my tippy toes and hug him back
"Ill see you Tuesday my dear at 6:30" he behins to walk out the door
I hear his car speed up
Oooo what a wonderful day
