Time waits for no one.
You might be the fastest runner in the 100m sprint,
You might be the one who gets the most things done in life,
Or you might be working against the clock to find the cure for some deadly disease.
But still,
Time waits for no one.
Being the fastest sprint runner,
Racing the seconds to try so hard to beat time,
But it won't wait.
It won't wait for you,
It won't wait for anyone else.
It is only when you come to the end of something-
Your time with a loved one,
Your time in high school,
Your time on earth-
That you come to realise.
Time waits for no one.
Our whole lives are just a race against the clock.
Filling in the time,
Trying to make more time,
Not having enough time.
Everything we do is a race against the clock.
And time
Waits for no one.
