When it came to introducing my more fleshed out characters, I wanted to introduce lots of characters at once, but now I realize that method isn't working for me. I would feel that if I put one character in, I would have to put in the characters that interact with them the most. And then I don't have a picture of them, so I have to draw one. Overall it was taking too long. Now I've decided to only introduce one character at a time.
