Alec and I followed Felix and Demetri through the Volturi castle to huge double doors.

"That's the throne room," Alec whispered in my ear before we walked in. In front of us were three thrones and Aro, Marcus, and Cauis. Felix and Demetri stood next to the now closed door while we walked into the middle of the room.

"Sapphire, Alec, you're finally here," Aro smiled his creepy smile. I noticed a flash of eagerness in his eyes. That happened every other time I've ever seen him but this time I had a bad feeling about it.

"Hello Aro, what did you want from us?" I asked nervously but trying not to make it sound rude.

"We want you to join the guard dear along with Alec to rejoin as well," he answered.

"We're not going to do that, we like the Cullen's Coven we're going to stick with them," Alec said.

"So I see we're going to have to do this the hard way then?" Aro asked. I looked at him with a nervous expression. He definitely has something planned.

"What do you mean?" Alec asked.

"This, Demetri, Felix." With in a second of Aro saying this, Demetri and Felix had me on my knees and holding my arms back, ready to rip them off. Alec was flung into the wall next to the door by Felix. While he was getting up, Aro walked over to me and put his hands on both sides of my head. My eyes grew wide as soon as I knew exactly what they were planning to do.

"No, no, no, please don't do this," I whimpered

"Alec, join us or your mate dies," Aro said.

"No, let her go, we wont join you," Alec shook his head. Aro sighed and his hands tightened on my head as he twisted my head into a painful position. I whimpered again. Alec was looking at me fearfully. "Alec?"

"Let her go," Alec yelled.

"Wrong answer," Aro said and twisted my head more to where it started to crack. I screamed out in pain.

"Alec, please," I cried.

"Alec?" Aro questioned twisting my head a little more, causing me to scream again.

"Alright," Alec yelled. "Now let her go, we'll join."

"Splended," Aro cheered and they dropped me. I just laid on my back sucking in unnecessary breaths. Alec was next to me with in a second and held my head in his lap.

"Are you okay?" He asked me worriedly.

"I'll be fine," I mumbled. My neck healed and he helped me up.

"Felix, show these two their room," Aro ordered.

"Yes master," Felix bowed and led us out. We walked through several corridors until we stopped in front of one of the doors. We walked in and Felix left. I saw that our carry on bags were taken in here. I laid on my back on the bed.

"Go my neck hurts now," I huffed.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know what else to do, Aro would have killed you," Alec said apolitically and laid next to me.

"I know, you were just looking out for me, I understand that Alec, I really do, I would have done the same if I was put in that position," I replied.

"I really am sorry, now we're stuck here," he sighed.

"Alec, it's alright, at least we have each other," I said trying to lighten up the mood.

"You're right," he said.

"I always am," I giggled. He chuckled and pecked my cheek.

"Yeah, not always," he laughed. I playfully glared at him and laughed along.
