One Month Later…
Keisha’s Point of View:
I’m sitting here watching a movie with my boo Khalil and my best friend Avannah. Lately I’ve been feeling a little sick, I don’t know why though. I get up and head to the bathroom. I instantly make to the bathroom and throw up. I feel someone move my hair out of the way so it doesn’t get throw up on it.
“Girl is you okay? I had to check on you since Khalil went to sleep.” Avannah said.
“I’ve been feeling sick lately.” Avannah raises an eyebrow as if she knows something I don’t. “Have you missed a month on your period?” Avannah asked.
“It didn’t show up.” I said.
“Oh my gosh! Girl you need to get a pregnancy test tomorrow and check to see if you’re pregnant.” Avannah said. I nod my head.
Khalil knocks on the door. “Is everything okay?
I heard noise and thought the worse.” Khalil said.
Oh shit! I thought he was asleep. I get up and brush my teeth. Avannah opens the door. “Everything is okay. I was just checking on Keisha.” Avannah said.
“Oh good.” Khalil said.
“I think I’m going to head home. You guys are still coming to the cookout tomorrow right.” Avannah said.
“Yeah.” I said.
“You know it.” Khalil said.
“Okay I’m out and I’ll catch you guys tomorrow.” Avannah said as we head to the front. She hugs us and grabs her keys and head out.
“I think I’m going to lie down.”
“Okay I’ll join you.” Khalil said.
I know what he’s thinking and nope not tonight. Khalil lifts me and carries me to the room. He lays me down on the bed and begins kissing my neck.
“Could we not do this tonight, I’m kind of not feeling good.” I said.
Khalil looked disappointed but I think he understands. He stops and the door bell rings. He goes to answer the door and I follow curious of who it could be.
Before he answers the door, all I hear is loud ass noise and banging.
“Khalil I love and I want a second chance to make things right. Could we talk?”
Oh hell nah! I know this bitch is not serious.
I immediately beat Khalil to the door and answer it.
“Oh good I just wanna say that-“ Surprise stops mid sentence and looks me up and down with a screwed.
“What the hell are you doing at his house?” Surprise asks.
laugh. “I should ask you that.”
Khalil comes to the door and instantly sighs.
