Chapter 19

Justin's P.O.V

She didn't believe me. She said she doesn't trust me. That's it? So now she's totally out of my life? I can't touch or see her anymore?

I throw and break the things on my table. I'm getting so mad. I scream. I can't bear staying away from her. Why did it happened to us?
I lay on my bed exhausted and feel my tears threatening to fall again.
I remember her saying,

"They are meant to flow down. Don't force them to stay behind your eyes."

I let them flow. One drop slid down my cheek followed by many others. I can't stop. I hold my head tired of the pain when suddenly my phone rings. I don't have enough energy to pick it up. It rings two more times and then I pick it up and throw hard it down the window. I lost control over my mind.

I hear someone banging my door loud.

"Justin open the door!" Peter shouts

"GO AWAY" I shout back.

"It's important! Why aren't you picking up Jess's phone?"

"She is your girlfriend, not mine. You go talk to her" I said opening the door, "Your shit better be important or I'll stab you for irritating me."

"Nessa is at hospital"

I go blank. I can't hear a thing now. All I can think is that I can't lose her again. I rush to the door and was about to pull the door of the car when I felt someone holding my shoulder tight.

"Where are you going?" Peter asks turning me around to face him and getting shocked seeing my red eyes.

"At the hospital. I can't lose her again" I say in a cracked voice.

"You're out of your mind right now. I'll drive or you will have an accident"

I agree as I can't afford to have another accident which will take me away from her. We reach the hospital in ten minutes with me shaking in fear. As soon as I reach the reception I ask for Vanessa's room. The receptionist was hesitating to tell me but then Peter came in to convince we were family friends.

I rush to the second floor where her room was and saw her father sitting on a chair with Jess by his side. Jess got up and ran to Peter behind me and hugged him. I walked to her and asked what happened.

"Her mother f-found her unconscious in h-her room" she said while crying and Peter hugging her tight.

I turned around to walk in the room past her father when he looked up at me with shock in his eyes.

"W-What are you doing here? How'd you get here?" He asks and I could sense anger in his voice. Before I could say anything Jess spoke from behind.

"He's our friend. He visited Nessa at her house a few hours ago but she was alright then"

Her father fumed at this and took me by my collar.

"IT'S ALL BECAUSE OF YOU!" He shouted, "WE CAME ALL THE WAY TO CALIFORNIA TO GET AWAY FROM HER PAST BUT YOU FOLLOWED US HERE!"

I fumed.

"IT'S NOT MY FAULT." I push him. "So you guys made us part ways, didn't you?"

"We did is for her betterment. The doctor said-"

"I know what the doctor said. But how could you do this? I mean, we couldn't leave without each other!" I say

"She was living quite well without you! It's all after you stepped into her life that she's in the hospital! She blacked out because of you!"
