Rogue x Reader One shot

Chapter 4-The Clearing

     Three and a half hours and a very long shopping trip later, You walked down the road to Sabertooth. You had on a (f/c) spaghetti strap sweetheart neckline dress that matched part of your hair almost perfectly. There were darker (f/c) buttons down the center. The bottom was about knee-length and had a (o/f/c) heart trim. You carried a (o/f/c) handbag that matched the bottom trim on your dress. You wore the front of your hair down with your bangs sideswept, and the back was up in a bun on the top of your head. You wore a rose Barrett on the top left side of the bun. You wore your black combat boots. They were your favorite, and You always wore them, just like your (f/c) jean jacket, currently over your shoulders. You also wore a black and (f/c) rose choker. It felt comfortable and pretty, and You Felt more relaxed secure.

You Opened the guild hall door and ran in. One of your best friends, Yukino was there. "Yukino! Yukino!" You called. Yukino turned around.

"(Y/n) ! How have you been!" She exclaimed.

You hugged her tightly. "I've been great! I've missed hanging out with you! I haven't seen you for almost a month now!"

Yukino took your hands. "Why are you here? You look great, by the way. Do you have a date? Who is it with?" Yukino asked you.

"Um, Rogue. Can you tell me where he is?" You answered.

"Oh! Yes, he's right over here!" Yukino led you to him. "Rogue! (Y/n) is here to see you!" Yukino called out.

"You know her? I mean, hi, Yukino.(y/n), are you ready?" Rogue asked you, blushing. He was wearing a white shirt, black vest, and jeans with sneakers. He looks so cute. You thought.

"Yeah," You replied. You felt my cheeks grow hot.

"Fro thinks so too!" A little green exceed in a frog suit says cheerfully. "Fro says good luck!"

"Hello there, little cutie. You're Frosch! I remember once I brought you back to Sabertooth after getting lost! How are you doing?"

"Fro is doing good! Fro remembers (y/n)! (Y/n) was really nice to Fro and cool!" The exceed says happily.

"Well thank you! I'll see you again soon, okay?"

Yukino gave you a hug and whispered in your ear, "Good luck! I'm rooting for you! You'll do just fine! I know it." She winked and walked over and talked to a green haired shirtless guy with tattoos who was singing awfully-worse than Gajeel, even.

"Let's go! I've got the perfect place to show you!" Rogue took your hand. You followed him closely all the way to a spot out of town in a nearby forest. He took you to a clearing and You gasped.

"R-Rogue it's... it's beautiful." You stared up at the sky, full of twinkling stars. Both of you lie down and watch the bright full moon and stars, and You realize You've been holding his hand this whole time. He looks down at it at the same time You do. You look at each other and smile. You stare into those dark crimson eyes. You see his cute face blushing. You feel your cheeks do the same. You scoot closer. He puts his arm around you. You rest your head on his chest and look up.Frosch comes out of the bushes and nestles between you.

"Fro thinks (y/n) is awesome. Fro thinks (y/n) should join Sabertooth." Rogue and You smile at the cute little frog cat. "Fro sees shooting star!" Frosch points a little pink paw at the sky.

I wish Rogue, Frosch, and I can be like this forever. You think to yourself.

"Hey, Frosch? You said you want me to join Sabertooth?" You ask.

"Fro thinks so too! Fro thinks (y/n) is pretty and nice and powerful! Fro wants to see (y/n) more often!"

"You know what Frosch? I just might."
