3. Sadness in her soul

New friends,

Credible lies.

The fire in her eyes has died,

Although her mind has tried,

For it to hide,

Somewhere, anywhere, elsewhere,

For it not to be lingering in the air, out there and bare,

She cried in silence, no one aware, no one to care.

Hilarious joke,

Hypocritical laugh.

The ultimate war began,

Who will run, who has a plan,

Happiness or sorrow of a man,

She knows, she's felt, faked, fought,

Her mind never at ease, her mind who ought,

For her to leave it, somewhere, anywhere, elsewhere, no afterthought.

Unbreakable trust,

Unforgivable secrets.

Dejection took the lead,

No one understood her need,

Her soul was yet to be freed,

No, not here, somewhere, anywhere, elsewhere,

With a truth hard to bear,

And a wish anyone can tear.
