I was chilling with Vanessa and Nora it was friday everyone was off work and we didnt have class so we bummed around as usual watching netflix and eating. Vanessa was glue to her phone 98% of the time anyways.
"Bitch whats so important on that phone to where you not even paying attention to the movie?" i say she laughs
"Matt! He's telling me a story and im reading it." i roll me eyes laughing
"If you date him you know he's gonna still be bald." She scoffed Nora cracked up
"WHATTT? Its true you always holler about waves and how much you adore them all he has is hats and shine." She snickers
"SHUTUP CHANTEL!" I cackle
"Since he's do bald i guess you dont want to go to the party he just invited us too tonight which Syd is gonna be at." My heart jumped but i kept composure not showing interest
"What time?" I ask
"It starts at 9:30 its already 8:37." Vanessa says looking at me while twirling a curl
"Well you better start getting ready cause you take forever and we'll be waiting up on you." She rolls her eyes
"Dont roll them too hard before they get stuck." she flips me off and heads up to her room
"Do still have that jean jacket and my chain here from Cici party?" Cici is what she calls my mom
"Yeah its in my closet with every other piece of laundry you leave here when you come over and wash." She laughs i pause the movie and cut off the ps3
"Come on you can look while i get my stuff out." we stand up and head to my room she hooks up her iphone to the dock and Wale lotus flower bomb plays i hum while finding my outfi
I could either choose between a black off the shoulder dress and some heels or a red crop top jean shorts and red vans, it was either dress up or dress down but it was just a party so I decided to go with the second option.
" Cha are you Finna shower right now or can I go?" Nora ask with her clothes laid out on my bed
" You can go before me because I have to do my hair still and I take longer." She nods and walks into my bathroom
I pull out my hair product box and start to do my nappy ass hair I wet it and slick it to a big ponytail to the back took about 5 minutes to do by the time I knew it Nora was out in a towel wrapped around her I tied my scarf on my head and walked into my bathroom smelled like her Calvin Klein body wash. I hop in the shower and wash my body and all that was running my mind was Syd even when I didn't wanna think about her I did I snapped out of it and rinsed off.
* 20 minutes later*
It was now around 9:20 I was putting on my earrings Nora was doing the finishing slicking to her Miley Cyrus ass hair cut I sprayed my perfume and grabbed my phone Nora and me walked out to the living room where Vanessa was buckling her heels at the ankle she had on a black cropped sweater some skinny black jeans with red heels her hair up in a curly bun and red lipstick, pretty nonetheless.
"YALL READY?" She yelled I looked at her with wide eyes
" WHY ARE YOU YELLING?" Nora yells back she laughs we walk to Vanessa's car and hop in Nora gets in the back. Vanessa hooks up the gps and we're off.
*30 minutes later*
We get to a house with music blaring from it we hop out and walk inside People everywhere smoking drinking talking and laughing we catch Matts bald ass head and make our way over to him.
